Autoplanet Car Supermarket, Maidstone, Kent

Had been looking for a car for the last two months but couldn't find something that would appeal to me. Finally found a good deal in Car Supermarket. They gave me a good price for my old car as well. five stars to them.

We visited Autoplanet Maidstone to look for a replacement vehicle and were'nt left alone for 5 minutes! All felt very pushy. We persevered and test drove a car and made enquiries about one at another site. Additional items kept cropping up to pay for and were quite hard sell. They said that we would have to be pretty sure we would buy the one from the other site, for them to transfer it to Maidstone, which we could not guarantee. So we decided to leave.

Glad we did as when I next caught up with a friend, she told me the nightmare she was having after purchasing a vehicle that has a recurrent fault on it. Autoplanet say they will not repair it again as it is now outside the 3 month guarantee period - despite it being the original fault found a week after purchase. She has also had to wait up to 2 weeks before they can take it in for repair.

Before I had picked up Autotrader, I had never heard of this company, It was a long way for us to travel.

I could not fault them. Yes if you want to take the car the same day, then yes you will have to wait for details to be sorted out, But we were only there 2hrs 30mins thats nothing, The last dealer I bought from I was in there 8hrs !!!!!!!!!!!! and he charged me 42.5%, Autoplanet only charged me 18% apr.
