Have had the Kia Shuma since new and have had no problems until now as my clutch has gone but that is partly my fault as I managed to burn it out by reversing up a very very steep hill fully loaded (wasn't through choice it was single lane and a jeep had broken down causing large problems). Apart from that my car has performed well in both city driving and on long journeys (motorways and winding country roads) I have been to Cornwall and back many times and have done the journey without having to stop due to aching legs etc. The main problem with the drive is when you get to a steep hill as the car looses its speed fairly quick which seems silly as it travels very nicely between 80 - 100 mph (not recommended). When updating my car I will be getting another Kia as the car is so good for the money and the looks aren't bad either as on seeing my car in the showroom (I paid extra for upgrading stereo paint etc) they had three more sales. Also my brother has now got Kias (Sedona and Picanto) and after letting my sister-in-laws father drive my car he went and got a Shuma 2 himself. Need I say more?

I was shocked that I had grown to love the Kia Shuma 2 16L. I have previously driven BMWs and Audis but decided to buy my own car rather than keep a company car. I bought purely on price and I have to say that I would buy Kia again.
