“Full Refunds”

★★★☆☆

written by zaButler213 on 09/03/2016

Be aware of this company. A full refund is not a full refund and they hold money back on the pretext that they still have to keep the 'card money'. This is a load of nonsense and insist you get a full refund because the card fees are refunded to them so they don't lose out. Be insisted and make sure you get ALL your money back.

“Hoseasons holiday home, The orchard, Nr Rye.”

★★★☆☆

written by Johnson-38 on 24/06/2015

Although it was a lovely house, The pool area could have been cleaner, and The pool area could have been cleaner and we found a used dirty bandage in one corner of the pool room and debris on the bottom of the pool. We also had a major problem with mice, in the kitchen and main front room, they managed to get into the food cupboard and nibble at unopened packets of biscuits and cereals, all of which had to be thrown away, also my son on entering the front room kicked a mouse across the room as he had not seen it. I contacted Hoseasons upon return to raise my complaint and just received a standard sorry you were not happy with some aspects of the accommodation. Which does not fill me with confidence that they will get the problem sorted for the next holiday makers.

“I enter '1 dog' then i am refered to 'no pets'...”

★★★☆☆

written by Voa02 on 10/09/2014

We've always book through Hoseasons and have never been disappointed....Hoseasons are very reliable......until your criteria changes....we now need to accommodate our dog. Hoseasons....I am very disappointed!!!!!! All I want is a Christmas break, a hot tub and a club house who's staff go the extra mile to add magic to Christmas!!! (The ULTIMATE recommendation for us being 'Woodland Holiday Park, Trimmingham!...these people know how to entertain at Xmas!!!!!!!) Here's how your website works....I tick the pet box, what happens??????...I am directed to loads of choices only to find that 'no pets' is tagged on to the bottom!!!!...Very disappointing Hoseasons!!!!!....we are prepared to pay for 5 days holiday but no-one wants our business!!!!!!

“Not the (Autograph) standard we have had previously. ”

★★★☆☆

written by debbiethompson on 11/11/2013

Having stayed in an Autograph Lodge before with Hoseasons at their Charlesworth Lodges in Derbyshire, which were an absoloute delight. We decided to book another Autograph Lodge in Yorkshire. This time round we booked the Ribblesdale, Yorkshire site. What a difference in quality and standards !!!!!!! I would not recommend the lodge we stayed in - Chatterley. It was a 2 x person Lodge with all the extras i.e., jacuzzi bath/hot-tub/dishwasher, all what we had paid for because these Lodges do not come "cheap". Firstly, the front door of the property did not have obscured glass or a roller/venetian blind !! (this was mentioned to the park owners whose reply was "Mmmm I will make a note of that". But on coming home and reading reviews, this had been complained about several months ago (as far back as June) and nothing has obviously been done about it. Sheer lack of any privacy. A Peeping Toms Paradise !!! Secondly, the bedding/pillows/cushions were flat and had seen better days. The cushions on the settee were an absoloute disgrace, I have thrown better away. Very flat and worn. The white bedding was tired and had not even been IRONED!!!! The duvet on the bed looked as though it had just been "thrown over" and the pillows did not even fit the pillow cases, the pillow cases were hanging off the edges of the pillows. Thirdly, the wooden venetian blinds in the property were broken. None of them would open with the pull chords unless you manually opened them one by one ... Some of the wood had been snapped halfway along the slat too, making it very easy for anybody to look in. Disgraceful. When this was mentioned to the owners they told us that they were aware about the blinds and would look into it. Why of why had this not been attended to when it was first reported. Not enough crockery/cutlery also and it was just plain white and if you like to have your hot drinks in a white (dockers) mug, this is the place. I would not return to these Lodges. Charlesworth Lodges in Derbyshire were much more superior and a pleasure to live in.
