Fantastic rates. Great customer service, and easy to use features for CD, and online savings accounts. I've been using Barclay's now for about 2 years and have never had any problems with transactions from my Wells Fargo checking account to the Barclay's saving account I have. Since the interest accrues daily, and there's no minimum balance, and 1.00% APY, I found that I couldn't go wrong with these guys.

I completely disagree with all the negative comments on here. I have been banking online with Barclays since it was introduced and haven't been into a branch to do banking in over 5 years. I have found it really easy to use and secure. I never had any problems logging in (so far!) Yes it can be annoying to not be able to use all the features if you've forgotten your PINsentry reader but I think the benefits and positives far outweigh the negatives and flaws of the service.

Barclay has never let me down. I subsequently withdraw and deposit money with ease and have it connected to PayPal.

It is extremely easy to use, I have had no login issues and their customer service cleared everything up to me. I admit, it has a lot of flaws. But compared to other UK banking, this is by far the best.

My favorite part is that unlike most banking companies, you don't have to pay monthly fees. This really pleased me.

Just because of slight bad experience, doesn't mean it's worse than any of the other banks.

I have to say I completely disagree with most of the other comments here.
Barclay's online banking is really simple and easy to use.
It was a little strange at first using the PINSentry machine, but it's just so simple. Card in, PIN in, type out the 8 digit code you see and there you go!

I've been able to transferee money from account to account in just a few clicks. Pay money to other people's accounts equally as fast. And after doing it once, it can remember who you sent money too, so it's even quicker next time!

I've never had any problem with getting myself set up with internet banking... I would recommend Barclays banking to anyone and everyone.

Okay - let's be frank, Barclays online banking does exactly what it says on the tin. I can manage my accounts 24x7, transfer money, set up standing orders, check balances and transactions, search for payments, it offers faster payments (if the receiving bank does the same), blah blah. (at zero cost to me and at a time that suits me). You do not require the card reader at every log on, and can view balances and transactions plus transfer money to other Barclays accounts without it, plus pay bills (eg gas, telephone, cards etc).The use of the card reader to log in and set up new payments is required, but big deal, with added security comes a little change. All Banks have their issues, and okay there is room for improvement, which I guess will come at some stage.
