In general the service works well and there are few problems. However sometimes the speed of Fibre Optic supply isn't quite what it needs to be to stream radio or movies and during the day there are frequent breaks in internet radio service.

The staff was very helpful & friendly i just wish money the that was owned back to me should have been put into the bank details always used just because it's not pain anymore by direct debit i could not see that was a problem, I personally would set a direct debit up but my Husband decided to knock me for his half of the bill August 2015 hence stopped the direct debit, he would never get the chance to do that to me again on my such low income, if its possible to make a general call to tell him it's even cheaper paying by paying through direct debit it would be appreciated buy me MRS SAUNDERS, thank you for your time.

Always seem to be willing to help. Will transfer you to the appropriate department if you initially ring the wrong one. Sometimes, however, it takes a little while for the 'phone to be answered in the first place. Other than this, my experiences have been positive ones.

It is generally quite quick to get a reply to my questions fairly quickly. This service has improved and it is definitely a perk to be able to get expert advice. i would advise family and friends that the technical advice is excellent, it is so easy to change ones mobile phone tariff, I find giving my electricity reading by my mobile such an advantage; so quick and simple. I like the compact booklet whereby my broadband, mobile phone costs, electricity readings and landline are set out so clearly and it is easy to tot up what we have spent in a year. I have been with Utility Warehouse for years and do not intend changing until I can find a better service.

“Wi-fi router problem efficiently sorted by UW ”

I recently had a security problem with my iPad, which for some reason wouldn't connect to my wi-fi router without an upgrade to my router's security settings, and remained unconnected for a couple of days. I decided to phone the Utility Warehouse technical helpline for advice, as they had supplied my router, and one of their advisers patiently talked me through how to do the upgrade via the router settings displayed on my desktop computer. He was very helpful, and spent time making sure that my iPad could connect properly to wi-fi after the upgrade. I also asked if I could have a new router, as mine was several years old and not the latest model supplied by UW. He agreed, and the new router arrived as promised via courier a few days later.

I have had only good things to say about utility warehouse. When I have had cause to contact them with an enquiries or a problem (problems only occurred with the wifi set up and it was quickly resolved) I have found their phone service to be cheerful, polite and helpful.

Utility Warehouse supplied gas and electricity to the previous owners of our house and after talking to them on the 'phone nine months ago, my wife and I decided to continue with them, adding landline telephone and broadband to the contract to qualify for a multibuy discount. Their rates for utilities appear to represent good value for money, and call handlers have been friendly and helpful on the few occasions on which I have telephoned. The automated service for customers to 'phone in meter readings is quick and easy to use and helps me to monitor consumption patterns. The printed monthly bills give more details for those who wish to look at them. I've been visited once by a meter reader, who was polite but did not volunteer any ID. It might also have been helpful to have advance notice of the day the reader would be visiting. Overall,however, I've been very happy with the service.

All my contacts with UW staff have been positive. I am an older user and the staff are very patient and deal with my queries and lack of technical knowledge with great patience. The reason I gave an overall 4 stars not 5 is because network coverage at my address is a bit patchy and that is frustrating.

The one thing that is frustrating about trying to contact UTW especially the technical department is the unrealistic time you have to wait to get through, then when contact has been made and your problem carefully explained to the listening operator, your answer or action (to be ) taken depends on the experience of that operator. These answers can range vastly again depending on whom one speaks to. Obviously the best scenario is for UTW to have a faster response time to calls from members and a better operator knowledge bank thus ensuring members obtain the fastest and best solution to their problem, easy to say I know but after 13 years of being a member it is not getting better. However after all said and done the services etc from UTW is adequate but could be much better....

“Good, but not the cheapest!”

I have always had good service from UW whenever I have had need to call them and it is particularly convenient to me to have all my utility bills looked after in one place. It is a pity that the mobile service that UW supply does not work indoors in my area even though it is a well populated area serving the commercial areas of the Thames Valley. By going onto comparison sites you can get cheaper energy deals but you would need to be prepared to keep a continuing watch on the market which I have been reluctant to do. Customer service and technical calls do tend to require a lot of patience; I am retired so it is not a great problem but it does sometimes waste quite a lot of time and the repetitive "while you wait" music can be monotonous!

Yes, I would definitely recommend them. They have two levels of broadband, I am on the cheaper rate and I have had good service for years. The other thing about Utility Warehouse is that if you do have a problem their customer service is faultless and is based in this country and they bend over backwards for you. Obviously the more services you have with UW the cheaper the whole package becomes and re the recent increase by British Gas, UW have only increased their charge by 2.9 %

If you contact Utility Warehouse (I find just after 2.00 pm or mid-evening are good times with little wait) you will find them very helpful and they will talk you through all you need to do. Have you tried re-booting everything? Hope this helps.

I'm currently a pay as you go customer with my electricity and gas (both with Utility Warehouse) I'd like to get unlimited Broadband - phone line, and the Mobile package too. Does anyone know how much it will cost? Kind Regards

We take all 5 services from UWCLUB, mobiles (3) landline, broadband and Gas+Elec. Taking everthing puts you on Gold tariff which saves even more. We have a large 4 bedroom house and our average monthly bill for everything is around £240 taking cashback card refunds into account.

Ring them up and ask them. The service team at Utility Warehouse are the best ever. Usually swift response, no pressure, keen to help and of course a centre in this country. There are so many packages nowadays you need to be specific but I can assure you that whatever you ask for, the service will be top notch.

Well that depends but I feel confident that over a year or so Utility Warehouse is cheaper than the others. On the spot you may find one of the utilities cheaper for a month or 2 but over a period UW scores well. And to cap it they are so good on the phone if anything goes wrong.
