I have a busy life and felt this was a convenient way to meet a companion, how wrong was I. I got three different profiles all using same picture. I don't trust any of them are authentic people because of the messages that have an underlying creepiness about them. I work with communication and words so was aware of irregularities. It has totally put me off on-line dating and even though I have unsubscribed I still get emails from the site. They will probably remove this as well

It seems that free dating sites aren't very popular, as no one in my area have logged on withing 28 days (or whatever the profiles say) so seems a bit pointless. The only good thing about it is the lack of fakes, like so many other sites out there. I'll keep checking back in every now and again though. Maybe the rating will improve in the future.

There are a lot of people on here that say they are in the UK but then you find they are Russian and don't actually want dates . There also a lot of fake profiles using adult film stars photos and beginning for money . And there are a lot of dead profiles that are not used anymore. Apart from that I love this site even though I've not had a date yet lol

New to the site, approx 3 weeks in. Most women I want to contact haven't logged on for at least a week or so. Clearly there are not enough members to keep people interested. Maybe with time this will improve, but given the amount of dating sites out there, you can understand why people move on quickly.

Very poor layout, not enough users, the profiles are also too basic giving no real opportunity to judge real personality. The impression is of a site who do not really take it seriously & are using it just to push the users towards the sort of salacious style adverts which gives a very down beat tawdry affect.

As above, and I appreciate that it has to be paid for, allowing direct competitors to advertise one the site is self defeating. Not many suitable contacts, but in retrospect, what can I expect from a free site? On the plus side, the members do seem genuine, unlike 99% of the other sites - including those that advertise on their site.

Talking to ladies.seems that they get contacted by men 20,30 years younger than them the age of their children.when profiled is filled out with ages contact shouldn't be possible in massive age difference. Most ladies don't reply period. It's good that it's free. I guess it's only as good as the members

We now live in very different times. If cfd opened up its status choice more ie catering for more marital status's instead of single, divorced, widowed. There are people who are seperated, living together, married. People simply seeking companionship. The amount of people who have not been online for 30 days or more is astonishing. I think to encourage people to write to each other would be helped by devising a system where upon if someone sends a message to another member, they have 24 hours to reply. If they don't reply in that time frame they loose the message. Maybe that would encourage them to log on more incase they miss an important message that could of been of interest to them. Make it compulsory to reply to a message even if it's a decline due to no interest. At least its better to get an answer than never knowing. Also many members say very little about themselves in the description, some write nothing at all. This leaves member with no idea of how to start talking to someone via message. There's is no information, therefor no points of interest to talk about. On registration maybe it would be an idea to have a minimum of say 100 characters mandatory to complete sign up. A facility to report people who do not have a description and send them a warning email that if the do not write a description they will have their profile deleted. Self policing.

Small number of Users. Best you can say about the site is its Free ;-( Unless Completely Free Dating can enlarge its database by collaboration with other free sites, I'm afraid there's not a lot to recommend.

It's easy to navigate around the site,I like that you can't be bombarded with photos in the chats that I had an issue with on other sites,there are way too many male profiles with no pix or info which is not acceptable in my opinion. i'm not sure what the 'report' function actually does because the men I reported were still able to access my profile keep me in their favourites list and the worst ones were still allowed to remain on the site rather than be banned. The old saying of "you get what you pay for" is a good way to sum up my experience as this free site is only a bit better than all the ones who charge.

All the matches within 20 miles were online "more than 30 days" ago and I suspect considerably longer than 30 days as nobody replies to my messages. What is the point of showing so many people that are clearly no longer using the site.

This site is all but dead, very few members online, because of the sparodic numbers online anyone of interest are very rarely within a realistic distance to regularly travel for a relationship, this means the vast majority of users visit just once or twice a month to kill boredom. The irregularity of users being online means that messages can go weeks unread, in fact more often than not you message a user only to find they were last online several months ago so the likelihood of them still being single is remote. Many photos are several decades old with no real guidelines or rules to follow when it comes to a users photo, and that's when you can actually upload a photo, half of photos fail to upload with no explanation save a cryptic icon. But then, what do you want for free?

I tried this site to see how it was compared to others. There are many issues with it. The most a noting one is it shows a chat notification, not what chat it is in! You have to trawl through every message until the chat notification disappears and you know you are in the right one. For many sites this would be impossible but this site is so inactive its quite easy to find it. I had more messages in one evening on a similarly named site as I have in 3 weeks on here! It may be free but so are others that offer a much better site,ive not had one message off a man suitable age, distance and a non smoker. I cant think of any good points for this site.

What I don't like is that when you send me a list of new members, the list does not include location. It would be easier if when clicking on anything, it alwats opens a new tab. Need to see send message and profile together. I use a large-screen PC so I expect more than those who use mobiles. When I get an email from CFD that someone has sent a message to me, the email from CFD should state name, age, and location of the memberr who sent the message. CFD is quite good but needs to improve.

Site is very quiet, hardly anyone online or online recently within the last 24 hours in my area, when doing a search it shows 90% of people not logged in for last 30 days. If you don't mind it been slow and being on it for a long time then that's ok but otherwise there is other sites that can be more active

Being given matches that are not in any way what I am looking for and I have requested photos and more than often there's none or the person has left the site !
