“I found my SRM450s had too much self noise..meaning...”

I found my SRM450s had too much self noise..meaning that there was a lot volume but not much musical information coming out of them. So when I had the oppertunity to A-B them against the RCF art310A I found the RCFs were smaller, better sounding, half the weight, with the same volume and unbelievably more botom end!!!!
The result of my findings?? I sold the Mackies and bought RCF art 310As. A real NO-BRAINER. THe more expensive professional range Mackie speakers are much better than these… Read Full Review

If Your a small dj or band then the Mackie SRM450 are for you but if your looking for top end clarity and power go for the RCF / Mackie Art 500 and use a separate amp it doesn't get much better they absolutely blow the SRMs away and the EVSX300s and SX500s TOO !!… Read Full Review
