REF: UNLOCKING MOBILE PHONES SERVICE.
Wish I had read reviews before using them. Like most of other appraisals, an absolute scam! Their 3 easy steps turn out to be double that! You are asked for additional info. that is not mentioned on the website. I wrote a letter of complaint on Dec.30th.2010. Still await a reply! In view of other comments I intend to send details of this company to Trading Standards and Director of Fair Trading. The website claim says procedure should take 2 minutes. Even if everything went smoothly it would take double that time and probably three times! Only reason I give one STAR is that is only way to transmit this review. DEFINITELY DO NOT USE!!

A total scam, no code to unlock phone but left waiting for 4 minutes at £1.50 a minute, DO NOT USE.

Like others I never read these reviews until after I had wasted 8 minutes and £12 the site is a con. I shall inform trading standards but I won't hold my breath.

www.unlockthatmobile.co.uk This website is a disgustingly legal scam. After being on the phone for 5 minutes (at £1.50 per minute = £7.50) they put the phone down on me. It was then after going through their website with a fine tooth comb I found 1 tiny line that explained it.....Nokia service only as stated in Terms.
I found this site to me extremely misleading in many ways.
Firstly, despite having a very clear, easy to read website, stating there were just "3 easy steps" they have purposely avoided any clear mention that their service is only for Nokia phones. Secondly when phoning, the recorded operator relayed a lot of useless information, obviously to drag the phone call on, but didn't once mention the service is for Nokias only. After entering every bit of information they finally ask you for a 4-digit model number, that's when you finally realise that your phone hasn't got a 4-digit model number, and they hang up. They do NOT mention even once in the long recorded call that it is only in fact for Nokias.
It disgusts me that businesses can make money in such a deceitful way.

Spent 7 minutes on phone. Phone is still locked. Don't use this service! Unfortunately, I suppose that people will only look here after they have been ripped off, just like me.....

absolutly appaled they get away with this, i followed to the letter and was on the phone for over 7 mins, i am writing for my money back but am sure it wont happen, im on a contract so god knows what my bill will be this month-DONT USE, ITS A COMPLETE SCAM!!!!!!

followed instructions was told along code number at the end , but wasnt crystal clear, asked to press 1 to listen again or 2 to finish ,pressed 1 only to get operator to say thanks for calling and hang up on me. dont bother try your local market place

Really bad service!

I tried to unlock my LG and this site does not appear to unlock LG. HOWEVER! it let me keep putting codes and numbers and finally said that I was putting the wrong code in. Instead of saying it will not unlock the phone it just allowed me to keep hanging on.

Unlock That Mobile stole my money basically
i was on their for 3mins and they took all my credit of my phone rip off don't use this site

The Unlock That Mobile advert does not say anything about only working on Nokia mobiles. I believe it is misleading. After the code fails you are then directed to check out whether your model is supported or not...Nokia only! Length of call was closer to 6 mins. Only method of contacting them is by Post, Letter!!
