The Nokia 2610 Is A Solid & Compact Mobile Phone W

The Nokia 2610 is a solid & compact mobile phone which is very user friendly. The 2610 comes in a choice of three colours which include silver, black & dusty pink. The overall size of this compact & curvaceous phone is 104 x 43 x 18 mm & the handset has a solid feel to it. The phone weighs 92 grams including the battery. The user can have up to 5 hours talk time & 380 hours of standby time on the Nokia 2610. The 2610 is similar to the Nokia 2310 which are both highly useable mobile phones but with differing features.

I Paid £9.99 For This Phone At Phones4u, An

I paid £9.99 for this phone at phones4U, and I prefer it more than my old Nokia 6500 slide in black. It's frustrating that battery life in phones are utterly terrible because of features we just don't need or really use, but are there for sheer novelty.. forget your 5-mega pixel cameras, MP3 ringtones, bluetooth, games, and your high definition screens. Phones should be the way they used to be, made for making calls and texting.I love my 2610, and if I lost it, I'd buy another. It's good looking, smart and light. Only downside is the poor colour screen, which I dare say, would be so much better in black and white.

Screen Is Barely Usable Inside And Not Usable Outs

Screen is barely usable inside and not usable outside. You have to be lightning fast to unlock the keypad. Even using two fingers I get it unlocked on the average after 8-10 tries. The selection button rarely selects on the 1st try. Sometimes I just give up. Received voice quality is poor but outgoing seems OK. Find another phone cause you won't be happy with this one.

I Cannot Find Any Good Points Apart From The Fact

I cannot find any good points apart from the fact you can record your voice!! I find it impossible to see the screen in daylight and I do not mean sunlight. I've had this phone a month and I 'm going to throw it away as I wouldn't wish it on anybody.

It's Quite Sad As This Is A Very Good Basic Phone

It's quite sad as this is a very good basic phone if your not interested in having all the bells'n'whistles on your phone. But the only thing that lets it down is the fact you really can't see the screen in bright conditions, regardless of how much you change the contrast settings on the phone. This makes texting impossible when out side. So if you need to see the screen either to know who's calling you or for texting then give this phone a miss, but if you just want to be able to pick up calls without knowing who's calling, then this phone is for you.

Had I Known The Display Was So Bad, I Would Never

Had I known the display was so bad, I would never have purchased this phone. Impossible to read in sunlight, and impossible to adjust contrast adequately.

The Nokia 2610 Is Probably A Good Phone For Young

The Nokia 2610 is probably a good phone for young women who just want the absolute basics. Anyone with less than perfect eyesight, fingers that are bigger than a young woman's, or less than perfect hearing, is going to find it very frustrating.
