I own the < 2006 2.2dci 150 initiale.
Excellent family car, never had problems.
All desired options are there, some wishes I have have been applied with the facelift (position of the GPS screen).

“Every gadget that you want is in this Renault Grand...”

Every gadget that you want is in this Renault Grand Espace 2.0 dCi Initiale. It is superb in every way, particularly with a large family. The initiale only has 6 seats but to be honest this is fine, and you can pick up an extra one if required but we have never had the need. The seats are heavy to take out but this means that if you do take them out you are not carrying the extra weight unnecessarily so.

The only issues have been the niggly faults with the electrics at the start of the ownership, but these have been resolved now and everything is ok. Servicing at the Renault dealer is only just OK. I have been used to the superb service at BMW previously though!

Ihave the same car which i love ... when its not in the garage with some problem!! I have had my injectors totally rebuilt which cost £1,200 and was off the road for 3wks then ive had silly bits abd peices and now i have an electrical fault! My battery drained about 4wks ago so replaced it, the warning light came on saying the automatic parking brake needed servicing, a week later the new battery was flat again! I took it to a garage who put it on diagnostic machine but picked nothing up except a massive drain but couldnt locate it! It has now been in a renault garage for 15 days and am still no further forward on finding the fault!! You said you had electrical faults on yours, i wondered what the were? It is costing me £86 an hour in the garage and am getting stressed!! I really miss my car>
