Autoleads PC4-27 600 Watt Wiring Kit

Well along with my Vibe black box amplifier (please read my review) I was given a wiring kit.

The Autoleads PC4-27 Wiring kit.

Features 8 gauge power wire which is fused and ground wire, both of which are insulated.

Remote turn on switch which is absolutely necessary for making your install work! Otherwise the amp wont even turn on, for this you either need a remote lead coming out of the back of the head-unit, or alternatively, with aftermarket head units, you have the ability to change the ignition live wire or the permanent live wire which both have two sockets, depending on how your CD player is wired up, as certain cars like Citroen, Vauxhalls and some fords need to have the permanent wire and ignition live wire switched, you can plug the remote lead into either of the sockets, but if you have wired the remote lead to the wrong connection the amp will permanently be on.

Essentially to save the hassle just buy an aftermarket head-unit with a remote on lead, saves so much time, and means you don't have to worry about the amp being permanently left on.

You get OFC phono leads about 5 metres in length, which is more than enough.

And you get some subwoofer speaker cable, about 2 metres in length.

The power wire and ground wire have already got crimped terminals, so there's no need to worry about dodgy connection.

You get 30A speaker connections, also you get some spare power-lead fuses, just in case you wire the amp up incorrectly ( Tip make sure the fuse on the power cable is closer to the battery than the amp, that way if it blows, it reduces permanent damage to your amp)

Can handle up to 600 watts, all though you should always use a power lead with a higher wattage handling, than the amp, that way you are decreasing the chance of an electrical fire. I wouldn't recommend running a Class D subwoofer monoblock amplifier on this, usually you should run about a 4 gauge or a 2 gauge for these types of amplifiers.

All in all I'm very pleased with its performance
