Company has a fantastic culture and principles. Working for a firm that sincerely wants to be the positive change they want to see. Gives lots of opportunity and encourages to grow a better career.

Terrible company - Whilst we were closed due to COVID - 19 (Restaurant) they sent a bill and then 2 weeks later passed it to their debt collection agency incurring a £35 charge. The business was closed and no unnecessary travel order by the government so only visited when i absolutely had to in order to make sure the building was ok. I have paid this as I can not be bothered with the hassle however I am appalled that in the current unprecedented climate, this greedy company have thought that this was an appropriate action. I WILL NEVER USE THIS COMPANY AGAIN, THERE ARE PLENTY OF OTHER COMPANIES TO CHOOSE FROM!

The prices to start off with were slightly high but acceptable for our core products. However, after 3 months the prices went up without notice. This then made us check our other prices. We were amazed to see prices at least double what they should be. We have now reverted to Amazon and Ebay. Other than this thier deliveries were good but we did not like the rep coming round every week taking up our time.

After sending her several "thanks, but no thanks" emails, the rep turned up unannounced anyway. I followed up with a stern but polite email rejecting her request for another meeting, and got a staggeringly rude email in return. Lyreco are like the crazy partner who won't accept that the relationship is over. Avoid.

Seriously, if u are looking to purchase stationary, is best you choose other suppliers. When i first sign up to lyreco, it was really nice for them to called me and introduced themselves, but the call went on forever and they do asked some serious questions like "Why did you choose us" /"how many years have your company been in the business" and most of all you MUST have a landline which is a joke! Seriously all i want is to order some stationary ... When the sales rep called, i didnt have a landline number so i said i dont have one why dont you put down my mobile number instead. I repeated myself 5 times but the rep said we HAVE to HAVE a landline number! what the ...??!! I then told them not to worry about it, i dont want an account anymore. The person on the phone STILL didnt get the message and being soooo pushy and wont get off the phone. I ended up giving them a fake number. It took them 24 hours to set up an account for me which was a joke! Also the website is so rubbish, it is so difficult to navigate and hasnt got much products on it. If i CANT find what i want on the website, i wont mess around; i'd just go to a different website where i can order what i want instantly. After they created an account for me, the sales rep would called me every week and haunt me down!! They would ask WHY havent you place any orders from us as we have created an account for you! Bloody hell! Calm down! Its only STATIONARY!!! This is such a joke! Anyone who signed up to Lyreco, good luck!

I don't like pushy people and our sales rep from Lyreco is pushy. I like to order my stationery from whoever I feel like ordering from and have some loyalty to my main supplier. Along comes the Lyreco rep and before you know it he has set up an online account for my Company expecting me to use them as our main supplier. He tells me when he is coming to visit not asks if it is convenient and if I do not order from them on a regular basis I either get a phone call or he turns up with his Manager in tow demanding to know why I haven't ordered from them. He talks to me like I am a child too. The thing is the more he pushes me the less I am likely to order. I don't like him and I don't like the usual sales talk about family and holidays and the like. It so obviously fake and is intended to reel me in to make me think he is my mate, he isn't and never will be. He is due in next week and he will be told all of these things that I have written here. Lyreco stop with the pushy sales reps it just puts some of us off !!!!!!

The trick I fell for was the salesperson would advise 'we have gave you a certain percent discount of the marked price.' Only to find out that if you did your homework first and looked online; 1. You could have found the product cheaper. 2. You could have got the product cheaper as well including the VAT in the price! I'd rather buy from Del Boy than from Lyreco. Do not be naïve to this company. The only good thing was items delivered quickly.

From the start, our sales rep was weird - would reply very bluntly and sarcastically to emails such as if I asked for a price for A2 Paper he replied "A2 paper???? We don't do those." If I placed an order under the amount eligible for a free delivery, he would harass me to add on toners and paper to the order to qualify for free delivery, if I said we weren't needing anything he wouldn't reply and go in the huff about it. We don't order stationery much but went to order stationery again for the first time in about a month and a half, I asked him for some prices for items (yet again, I didn't put down paper and toner as we don't require it right now). I got an email notification to say he had read my email, got no response. Emailed him 2 days later to ask if he got my email okay, yet again he read my email but still no response! We have now decided that our company will never be using Lyreco again or the rubbish sales reps!!!

I've worked for Lyreco for 2 years now and it's the worst company I've worked for the management are all spineless useless and have no people skills talk to us drivers like a piece of dirt treat us like dirt and try to bully you all I can say is good riddance to you all

Competative prices and great service. I can't fault the service I have received from Lyreco.

Fellow Venus 2 A3 Large Office Laminator Amazon price: £204.05 Lyreco price: £464.40 This isn't a mark-up, it's a heist. I honestly cannot imagine how a sales rep for the company could possibly spin this into a foregone conclusion, although they'd no doubt give it a shot. It's what you might call a recovery price; a price company's tied to Lyreco will pay to make up for the bargains they believe they are getting for other items. A truly sad state of affairs.

LYRECO - This company seems to forget that the small business owner is their bread and butter. Due to Lyreco’s ink cartridges I had to bin a very good printer. It wasn’t until I was forced to dump the printer after the Lyreco ink cartridge leaked all over my office desk, my office carpet and all over me that they decided to inform me that they could have replaced the printer. However, for this to happen I was expected to keep hold of the printer after having ink spill all over my office. Believe me when ink from cartridges leak the last thing you can do is keep hold of them…………………..Worse than that they would not refund me the cost of the cartridges that I had in stock for the printer that I had. Hence not only did I lose a very good printer but I lost the cost of 15 print cartridges because of their ridiculous rules. I was changing premises and requested that my mail be directed to my home address as this was a new building that was being built and would take a few weeks for the postcode to go through the system. But no they couldn’t do this for some obscure reason. The latest garbage that they have come away with is now im left with 2 boxes of labels that were the wrong size and they won’t take one back because on box has been opened, even although the box and its contents is intact……………………….LYRECO im done with you!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

These 3 words are op opposite to how lyreco operates. They don't trust people and they bully them.they won't change to adapt to current market they're too greedy and have too much overheads. Their business hasn't grown for last 7 years and is in decline. Their ethos is close to 0 and stress is first thing you'd feel from day 1 as an employee. Bullying all way long.

So agree, been working for them for 6 months now and not one day when I'm not hassled, talked down to or targeted on my activity. Area Manager frightened of Regional Manager who is frightened of Director who is frightened of Head Office who is frightened of French owners. Leaving shortly when new job comes through - would not recommend.

Well said this is EXACTLY how they operate. I worked for them for several years between 2000-2010 and also won 'VLP' sales award in that time. An award not even known about outside of the company yet they rave on like it is winning an Oscar while you are there. Have seen staff bullied also in field sales. They bullied me. HR did nothing. Not a nice place at all and high staff turn over.

All I ever see with Lyreco is an incredibly competitive core price list... anything not on this list is charged at massively inflated prices!!! Stay well away.

It's all well and good customers being happy but staff that's another question maybe you should think if them a little more multi-million pound company and have no facility to help them out in a crisis what a joke, someone ought to teach them happy employees make for happy customers!!! And no I am not an employee just know how badly a few are treated!!! It wouldn't let me leave no stars

I love Lyreco. No delivery charges, no min order value and its your tomorrow or yours free! I've never had an invoice query or any back orders. My delivy driv puts the goods where I want them put and my rep keeps me posted on what's new. Best of all though is I'm thanked for my business every month and my rep proactively looks at ways to save me money by offering discounts nd other product offerings. Price is extremely competitive Service is exemplary No hassle ease of ordering

i know for a fact competitors write dodgy reviews on here , ive been using Lyreco for several years ,their reps undergo some of the best professional sales training in the country , hence why their sales guys are always being head hunted ! i know because ive tried , in vain to recruit one of their guys into my company ! Always very professional , excellent prices and the only company with dedicated account managers .

lol Dme007uk you work for Lyreco dont you.

Our Lyreco rep drove a £40K company car. And they employ all these top professionals.
How can the prices be EXCELLENT????
Lyreco charge double the price of the online companies to pay for the cars and staff.
Written on: 08/02/2022
Wow that’s not true. I worked for them for 8 years and I started off in a Renault Chleo then promotted to a golf. That’s not a 40k car. I’ve read these reviews and your comment is a complete misrepresentation

Having worked in both the Corporate & Dealer market I can honestly say Dealers are the way forward. A key point being that the majority of dealers will buy products together which vs the Corporate Stationers gives them much better buying power. The service form a dealer is much more personal, you are not just another number but an integral part of their business which more often then not means they will bend over backwards to help you in any which way they can. We know use our dealer (Jamie @ Harper Office) for office supplies, print, promotional products and exhibition bits and pieces and find them to not only be very competitive but very very helpful. Lyreco can be very cheap but who actually has the time to check prices everytime they order!? Our dealer holds all prices and in some instances is happy to show me their cost price and sit down and agree a margin with us.

Will never use again, very pushy sales rep, prices quoted weren't honoured and promised credit notes took ages to arrive after constant calling. She even told us the company we were using had just gone bust!! 1st rule of a sales rep - NEVER insult off the competition. We are still using that company who are both efficient and honest, something Lyreco will never be accused of.
Written on: 18/05/2011
I feel that your comment is aimed at your rep not at the company, I know Lyreco and i have a very good rep who does everything that is promised at times that are promised. I have a core list which is discounted highly and I have a unpriced catalogue but I do have a discounted price list to go with it whch shows exactly how much discount vs RRP i am getting so I think that maybe you just had a bad rep. Maybe you should always judge a book by its cover!!.

here here someone telling the truth about lyreco
Written on: 24/06/2011
Don't judge a company on an experience with a bad sales rep. Not indicative of the company just one individual who is probably no longer with the company,
Written on: 26/03/2014
Yeah! Don't judge it on the prices either....they will change next year!
Stupid comment. The sales rep is your point of contact, if they are bad, the company is bad.

I have heard some story's and reading this it doesn't surprise me.i used to use lyreco and after 3 months I had another comparison done with a company called Townley office supplies.I spoke to a guy over there and now he's my account manager. From the service to the drivers they are great and prices have gone up this year with everyone but Townley let us know and they are still competitive maybe give them ago.
