Hi,
I have a 2 doors 1.2L Fiat Punto Selecta petrol engine (not diesel). I would like to know If I could substitute its tires 165/70R14 by 175/70R14. Is there any risque or problem regardless of the somewahat increase of fuel consupmtion.
Concerning performance it is satisfying for easy driving. Fuel consumption too is economical enough compared to others in the city. Stability in high speed is fine up to 75/85 miles per hour in the highway.
Thanks for anyone replying to my request.

The Fiat Punto 1.3 SLX selecta is brilliant. it has loads of legroom in the rear and in the front. Selecta means automatic in italian. The automatic gearbox is so un-noticable when it changes gear it feels like it doesnt change! Seats are firm and very comfy. Bargains are around. they're GREAT!!!!!!! drives at ease up hills.

Yes, I agreed with you, a small fun car with good performance, never feels like a small cc car, will scare other driver on the road.
Very smooth gear change without any notice even with the manual gear shift (dual shift, manual or auto).
Just like 600cc sportbike, small & powerful.
