Awesome Car Been 100% Reliable. Done 112000 Miles
Awesome car been 100% reliable. Done 112000 miles and still drives superb.Very tight with the sports suspension.handles better than most new cars, matched by excellent brakes.I have agreed to scrap this car so my wife can have a new car with a £2000.00 discount but wish there was a way to get around the system.I have just bought a 2001 mk3 Ghia X.Fantastic Spec but not nearly as much fun to drive.

Have Owned My Mondeo 2.0si For 7 Years And Its Nev
Have owned my Mondeo 2.0si for 7 years and its never skipped a beat 152,000 on clock (has done just over 125mph on a track day, had more but track not long enough). Only one quirky problem is sometimes the doors lock for no reason, otherwise a darn good car, step-father has a newer model and has had nothing but problems.
Yes it is a bit thirsty but remember its a si not an oil burner.
Wife is pushing me for a people carrier next year otherwise would hang on to it until it.
My theory to its lengthly life is Fit a k&N filter, regular servicing and make sure the oil is 5-30 it smells odd when the oil is hot but the car loves it.

I Have Owned My Ford Mondeo 2.0 Si 16v For 6 Mont
I have owned my Ford Mondeo 2.0 Si 16v for 6 months now and i love it. I find that its power is unbelivable, but ive still to test it as i think a previous owner has modified the engine, has brilliant acceleration response, very fast, bags of room and great motorway car. And has a great sounding engine

I Recently Bought A 1996 Mondeo Si 2.0 For £
I recently bought a 1996 Mondeo Si 2.0 for £800 6 months tax, 12 months MOT. I love the car, it's got good performance for how heavy it is. However, the acceration was laggy and inconsistant through the rev range, even after a new air filter, new fuel filter and injection clean. I remedied this by removing the factory fit airbox and replaced it with a K&N cone filter, using the factory fit cold air intake. Now it's punchy from 1,000 and consistant through to 6,000 revs with no lag what-so-ever. A pleasure to drive, especially on long journeys.

I Have Owned The Mondeo For A Year And A Half And
I have owned the Mondeo for a year and a half and I just can't take it any longer. It has had issues with reliability from about 3 days after I bought it and now it has started to cost me money I am selling it and getting a Skoda Octavia VRS.
