I studied in Londonmet between 2002 and 2006, I did Electronic and Communication Engineering and had the best time of my life there, some of my teachers were international recognized figures in the field of science and research, some very knowledgeable people, the way the program was structured was also very good with a good mix of theory and practice, the labs equipment was up to standard for us to practice all that we'd learned in the lessons and the uni itself provided all that a student could ever need.

London Metropolitan University, especially the Business school, is to my opinion, amongst the top UK ranking universities.
Judging it by the above criteria, the IT Facilities are just brilliant, with an enormous number of modern computers, screens and televisions available for all students. The Bloomberg Terminals is my favourite part - as they are a source of highly professional information - finance/economics/accounting... knowing how to use them is a great advantage for gaining "A"s on your courseworks' and for future career opportunities.
The Library Facilities every year get the substantial number of volumes in every field; personally, I have always found what I need. Last year the university invested significantly in transforming the library facilities in both Campuses.
Nightlife - well the university is based in the heart of London, especially the City Campus - I have not heard anyone complaining of lack of awesome places to celebrate. It is quite common thing to meet traders and financial services professionals in cafes and pubs nearby and have a chat.
The Societies and Clubs - to my knowledge - there are around 15-20 societies - I am a member of the Investment, participated originally in the Music one too. We run a real-money Investment Fund, meet every week and discuss what is happening in the financial world, invite highly recognised speakers and attend various seminars and lectures - particularly in the Bloomberg headquarters - 5 minutes walk from the Moorgate building.
Value for money - highly worth the money. There are so many things to benefit and learn from. Professional lecturers (high number of them writes and contributors), modern IT facilities and regularly up-to-dated Library facilities; a number of Societies to have entertainment and expand your knowledge.
I highly recommend it for higher education.

I did my first degree in Computing. I had some fantastic lecturers and some were awful as well. I put a lot of effort and managed to get a very god result. I came back in 2008-2009 to do a master degree at the University and I must say i was impressed by how good some lecturers were. I had my best year at the Uni and really grateful to some wonderful lecturers namely QiCheng Yu and Bob Righby who were a class above. I would certainly recommend London Metropolitan University.
I am very happy that i studied there and now have a better job. Wish you all the best...

Surely a shill review? University rankings are definite and well publicized, not subjective opinions, and London Met is near the bottom of every type of league table! It is not respected by the professions nor the layman.
