Bought a projector lamp. Expecting the original genuine oem lamp as described. What turned up was a compatible lamp. They even use the oem lamp in there descriptive picture. The managing director Naseer Amirir seems to think what he is doing is ok. This is a very big no no. You cannot sell something thats is not as described. Please, avoid like the plague.

I ordered a TV back in August 2010 and had a bad experience. To cut a long story short it was never delivered and had to claim the money back through my Credit Card company. This took over 1 month and was a great inconvenience to me. Are the reviews below genuine as how this company got two 5 star reviews around this time is behond me as the service I received was absolutely terrible.

of them have ended up happening and after reading these reviews am getting abit concerned now doesnt inspire me with confidence should have stuck to the normal place I buy my equipment but price was tempting should no better price isnt always everything good service is.

I have never posted on this site before and felt i had to after reading some of the reviews.

Some people are saying go to the big chains no,i have always had bad service with any big chain and yes they know who they are.

I bought a sony 40" tv from sound and vision in farnworth bolton.

it was delivered in the time they said it would (5 working days).

upon having the set for a day ,i was most upset that the following morning The unit would not turn on :(

I rang the shop and got through to the sales team who said someone will ring me back???

10 mins later a got a call saying that they would come to my house that day upon MY request and bring me a brand new tv.

within 3 hours i had a new set delivered and installed and the old faulty one taken back...this was 5 months ago.

and i have purchaed all my new equipment from SOUND AND VISION since,the guys are friendly and know what they are talking about..

If you need a tv SOUND AND VISION is a must.

looing at plasma tv video reviews, on youtube and came across soundandvisions excellent presentations,went to there web site and and found that they were based in bolton.when i visited the store on saturday a sales man called chris introduced himself and pointed me in the direction of the tv i had come to see,after full demo of the set,i asked if there was anything they could do with a dvd.i ended-up ordering the tv at £869 and got a panasonic blu-ray dvd for just £30 more.he said they would call me on monday with a delivery day.at 9.30 monday morning i got a call from chris to arrange delivery,the tv was delivered today tuesday.fantastic service,great web-site and product video review,i love the tv.thanks

Screen developed a fault (vertical lines). Contacted sound and vision who washed there hands of it and therefore I had all the chasing to do. It' the responsibility of the purchase to do this. Once they have your money the after sales service is zilch. Very unhappy customer.

Found a website I'd never heard of before, Soundandvsion.co.uk, they were advertising the same product for £230 cheaper (£869.99). I called them and they were honest enough saying that they had a batch of stock coming in on the Monday but that they were all already sold, they said the next batch would be in on the Thursday (this was on a Sunday afternoon) so I'd be looking at around 10 days for delivery, it actually turned up the following Thursday so a wait in total of just 4 days, absolutely no problems whatsoever, TV looks great and at a great price - will certainly be using them again in the future.

We paid a deposit for a 50inch tv and have rang sound and vision three times each time they have not answered the phone, having left a message on their answer phone we expected a call back, a week has gone by and they have not contacted us. We are worried they will not deliver the goods. The staff we dealt with seem to have a take it or leave it attitude.

I would advise anybody wishing to purchase Tvs etc to go to one of the well known department stores.

I was bit concerned with the reviews, however, a colleague from work recommended sound and vision and I was very impressed by the service, would highly recommend this company.

A month ago I bought Sony TV & ICON TV stand from Sound and Vision. TV is delivered after one week and TV stand is delivered after more than two weeks. When I opened the TV stand box one of its shelf was totally shattered.

After pursuing Sound & Vision I got another shelf after more than one week with quality control, checked and inspected sticker on box but great people at sound & vision sent me transparent glass shelf for black glass TV stand. After pursuing another week with sound & vision I have been told that I will get new shelf on given day by courier and they will take away previous two boxes (i.e. broken TV stand & Transparent shelf). As promised they delivered desire box with quality control, checked and inspected sticker on it and took previous two boxes.

When I opened it I was surprise to know that this box contains only one black glass shelf in it and that's it.

Well I don't know what should I do with this shelf when actual TV stand is gone. Even if they send back that broken TV stand then this remarkable new black glass shelf will not replace the broken one b/c broken one was of thick glass and new one is of thin glass.
