I booked skiing accomodation in Le Praz (below Courchevel) through Evasion Travel. The service they provided beforehand was superb, they were really really helpful. The apartment was just as described and was excellent value for money. All ran smoothly, the Evasion staff were friendly and helpful as well over in France. I will use Evasion again and highly recommend them to anyone considering booking through them.

What a very memorable experience and superb holiday. We were collected from the airport by very cheery Dan and Emily and taken to the quiet little village in the ardeche. A truly french hotel -basic but all you needed and a pool bu weather meant too cold to use it. Day 1 taken on a great walk thru the forests to la baume and then pm nerve wracking hi ropes which my son loved and i don't think i overly embarassed him. Day 2 kayaking in pouring rain thru the goege - truky fabilous dan and emily coukd not have been more helpful - wonderful experience overnight in la gourner and then wet bbq supper . Next day no longer raining in the morning ! Wey hey continued thru gorge - just us we were the only kayak - really really speial then dan and emily mat us at the other end which was very very welcome as it was really getting cold !!! Drive bak to the village and chilled day. Day 4 caving again personal chauffer service to the caves .and spectaukar tour - in hindsight probably shoukd have opted for pt holing as t was still raining ! Day 5 trp to beach or glorious sunshine and then plane home. Evasion could not have done any more for us - truly made the break very very special or both if us - a bonding holday made so easy as a result of their eagerness to please without pushing and going at our pace. Great time wld highly recommend

Evasion Travel (www.evasiontravel.co.uk) is a new company that has grown from the founders' experience in the area. They have managed to uncover the Ardeche region in France as a place for great outdoor activities (canoeing, walking, mountain biking, cycling), coupled with wonderful scenery and traditional food. The Ardeche is a fantastic place to go to get away from the crowds and experience a bit of rural French culture. I highly recommend it.
