The First Book In The Inspector Banks Series Of Bo
The first book in the Inspector Banks series of books by Peter Robinson is called Gallows View, and once you read this you will be hooked!! DCI Banks is based in North Yorkshire after becoming 'burnt out' in London, but soon becomes an adopted Yorkshire-man. The stories are well written and believable. I cannot wait for the next one to be written. I am just reading the 17th book, Piece of My Heart, and as ever, it's wonderful!
Peter now lives in Canada, after living in Yorkshire, so the scenery he describes is real and the characters are always complex, none more so that Alan Banks himself, and his personal life.
