As an excitable 18 year old looking for finance on a car... I was the perfect victim. Despite my £1,000 deposit - PCF sneakily said I could have the loan on the basis that it was split - one as a 'personal loan' to contribute towards the car loan, and the second on the car. 'Apparently' this was explained to me at the time, I'm not sure I understand 5 years on!! I am on my final year of payments at long last and cannot wait to be rid of it! So my Fiat 500 at the point of sale was £7041.00 Agreement no 1: HR Cost = £7041.00 Interest = £4487.40 Acceptance Fee = £250 Title Transfer Fee = 150 Agreement no 2: HR Cost = £1,000 Interest = £774.80 So a car that cost £7041 at the beginning has costed me an embarrassing total of £13703.20 Avoid this company at ALL costs

Had car finance over 3 years..... Paid on the date without fail yet they said our payments every month were late, got charged every month for late payments, charged £10 per letter they sent out, meaning AFTER we had finished paying we still had an outstanding amount in 'late' charges..... We paid these in FULL, and had a letter confirming this, for the last 3 months, every month we STILL receive a letter, and today received a letter saying we still owe for charges! Customer services are shocking, and totally uncooperative, saying we HAVE to pay. We are going to take legal action against them now.

Went to this company as my credit was poor so not alot of options All seemed well until one day when my direct debit bounced then i had some snotty office worker ring me and threaten to come and repossess the vehicle I complained about this individual and nothing was done I had 2 loans a vehicle loan and a Booster loan whatever that is both are secured on the same vehicle and they come out as 2 separate amounts When the direct debit bounced i cancelled it and since that day 2 years ago i have paid online using their own online payment tool....BIG MISTAKE as they say it takes too long to reach their account so every month even though i have been paying on the due day they have been charging me a late payment fee!! Even with a direct transfer I receive late payment charges even though i can prove the payment hits their account as soon as i press send The booster loan is still on direct debit and is fine Customer service is a big NO NO as well as they will not listen and talk over you all the time I will be paying up my loan and refusing to pay these sneaky charges and hopefully they will take me to court Avoid this company like a big pile of steaming dog poop as they are the worst finance group ever They ring you the same day the payment is made to ask you why you havnt paid even though it is not late i would say that is Harrasment!!!!

We had finance on a car 6 years ago .The car was 3000 pounds we kept up with our payments until my wife got made redundant we paid well over half the money and decided to give the car back now we have court orders for deduction of earnings for 12000 pounds thanks private and commercial we are now on verge of bankruptcy

Pcf financed my car purchase, was mis sold part finance and part fixed sum loan agreement, car turned out to be a nightmare, not pcf's fault but having spent over 2k trying to fix the car I gave in. Pcf arranged for the car to be collected under the sale of goods act or so I thought, it certainly wasn't a voluntery surrender, I asked for my money back having paid over £1600 and over £2000 on repairs they refused and are now threatening me with court action for their money!!!!!!!now they won't even talk to me!!! Beware people, be very careful if you deal with this company also please people NEVER deal with west burn diesel centre ltd in ryton ne40 4tx, it was their salesman Doug that caused all of this!!!! I hope this review helps others not to fall into the trap!!!!!

Avoid at all costs. Excessive interest rates. Horrible customer service. Don't say i didn't warn you.

BE WARNED! READ THIS! Anybody thinking of getting involved with PCF/Private and commercial Finance should be very weary!!! They are fine so long as an agreement is going to plan but miss a payment or try to end an agreement early and you will be left feeling very hard done by indeed! I used them for a purchase, through a difficulty not made by my own actions after only having said vehicle for 4 months they would not drop a penny from what would have been the full amount paid if the deal had gone the full 4 years! £7000 charged for 4months credit!!! Be very very weary of this organisation!!! You have been warned!!!!

I was advised by my broker any early settlement would consist of interest on the borrowed amount for the length of time taken then two months penalty. This is not the case with this company! Use Close Assett or Lombard they are much more reasonable!
