“prague is amazing”

★★★☆☆

written by sapperrobbo on 18/10/2012

Prague is an amazing place for a stag weekend!! the beer and food is amazing an cheap!! However some of my dealings with red seven were disapointing! the first person i dealt with talked a very good game and to my discredit i fell for his sales pitch!! so that is one thing to be aware of, that said after getting past this salesmans lies the rest of the support staff were very helpful and couldnt do enough to resolve my issues (maybe theyre used to having to do this kind of thing) despite my issues with the salesman if you have in your mind where you want to go on your stag weekend and you dont need to listen to a sales pitch then red seven is a really helpful and useful part of helping to organise your weekend

“Hotel was lovely, Bar Pass complete waste of time...”

★★★☆☆

written by on 17/08/2012

I booked my best friend's hen night in Blackpool through Red7 Hen & Stag Company recently. We booked a hotel for 1 night (a Saturday) and a 'Free Bar Pass' which gave us VIP-style access to 6 different bars/clubs. The cost was £43 each and there were 10 of us going. The first thing that was a little frustrating was the constant calls I had off the Red7 sales team prior to me booking the deal... Considering I had to consult with 10 girls to make sure the plans and price were ok and had told Red7 this (and that I'd phone THEM back) I still received up to 3 calls/missed calls daily from the moment I first enquired into prices with them until I eventually booked. The second frustrating thing was the speed at which you had to look over the booking and make changes once the deposit had been paid... I had 24 hours to confirm places and that the details were correct! I didn't have access to a computer during this time so when I logged into my account on Red7 about 2 days after booking I was met with a notice saying that the 24hours were up and that the party had been locked at 10 persons max and that the price would increase per person if less people came. My friend had wanted to pay in instalments as she was waiting to get paid and the Red7 advisor had said this could be done when I initially spoke to him. However my friend said there didn't seem to be a way to pay in instalments and she had to pay all of the money at once, leaving her a little short before pay day... Printing the paperwork was a breeze and I didn't hear from Red7 again until we came back from the weekend. Hotel - Although I was a bit apprehensive about booking a hotel without knowing which hotel it was (Red7 would only tell me after paying the deposit), the hotel (The Alondra) was lovely and the couple who own and run it couldn't have done more for us. They even put up hen night banners and ribbons in the breakfast room around our table the morning after the night before! Lovely, lovely people. I would recommend their hotel to anyone. The 'Bar Pass' was another story... I had to take the paperwork out with me on the Saturday as it was written that I had to produce the pass and my ID at each venue. Thinking that these venues must be very difficult to get into I thought nothing more of it and was glad that I could guarantee myself and the other ladies free entrance into any club on the list (despite any queues there might be). Well, didn't I look an idiot when we had NO TROUBLE AT ALL getting into the venues - we just walked in (no one wanted or needed to see the 'pass') and worse still the venues were FREE to get into anyway!! Granted we didn't go to all of the venues on the pass (they were all over Blackpool and it would've cost us loads in taxi fares) but it was a bit of a farce... The hotel rooms would've cost around £20-£25 per person for the night if we'd booked it independently so the 'Free' bar pass actually cost us roughly £20.... I know RED7 need to pay their staff too and the customer pays for the fact that the company collects the money (which is a bonus), but we felt a little ripped off at the end of our weekend. Next time I'm going to book things myself and the other girls feel the same way too. Best thing about the weekend; Being with my best mate and the girls living it up on the golden mile! Worst thing: Feeling like I'd ripped the girls off with a ludicrous 'Free bar pass' that meant nothing!

“Good customer service-shame trips never happend!! ”

★★★☆☆

written by Samschickens on 03/06/2012

Customer service was fantastic!! We were promised a tshirt for the hen which never arrived!! We had tickets for club es parades which was closed do we're all very annoyed as this was included in our price!! Transfers were good to and from hotel. Hotel it's self was clean and near all local amenities the only bad bit was you pay for sitcom when there but most machines didn't work!! Food on site wasn't great but the bars by pool were fantastic. I would stay in hotel again! I would have liked to know clubs didn't open untill the weekend as we had tickets which we couldn't even use!!

“Poor communication.”

★★★☆☆

written by on 13/03/2012

1. Staff at Red Seven vary in their communication skills/ levels. In the first place I found I experienced a very good level of communication and assistance. However once the booking was made this deteriorated, and i felt the attitude was very much 'we have the sale...now you can forget about customer service' I sent numerous e mails and made numerous phone calls and very few times received answers. My allocated contact was near useless in getting back to me....all people want is a phone call. 2. Ability for payment packages etc is excellent and took the worry about money etc out of my hands - this is the single best thing about Red Seven along with the website which is quite easy to use. However it does not always answer the questions you have and so to palm e mails and phone calls back onto this is unacceptable. 3. Despite telling redSeven on numerous occasions i had people coming from all over the world and therefore would only need 3 or 4 people picked up from the airport (largest group we had), when the transfer arrived it was for 17!!...i suspect a lack of communication again here...but that would be your loss i suppose anyway. 4. Hotel was very standard, but to be honest that is ok, as what can you expect for a Stag do, it is unlikely to be the height of luxury! However it was in an excellent location. The stag was very enjoyable to everyone concerned and most people had a great time. 5. There was talk of tee shirts and how we would be sent these. One chap even paid for one. we have seen hide nor hair of them...but please dont bother sending them as it is way to late now! On balance i would not use Red Seven again unless the communication was significantly improved. I have had 3 lads who are best men in the next few months (there were 27 of us in total in Munich). All have asked if they should use Red Seven, all i have said no because when you are organising a stag do, there is a lot of pressure on you, and if you cannot get answers it is probably the single most frustrating thing in the world! Anyway, good luck to your company and lets hope you listen to these comments!...although i suspect this e mail will be binned!

We're sorry you found the communication erratic. We can assure you that after the point of sale, our service team are working hard to make sure that every aspect of your booking is complete. We are an online company therefore, where possible, most requirements for the booking can be made by email and on the personalised system.

With regards to the transfer, this is the standard transfer we use therefore, we can only hope this made your journey all the more comfortable with the extra space!

In order for us to investigate the situation with the t-shirts, we would appreciate it if you could email us at [email protected] so we can find your booking and investigate this with our supplier.

We're really pleased you found the payment system useful and that your group had a great weekend,

“Not as promised!”

★★★☆☆

written by kyelland on 06/03/2012

On arrival we thought that the hotel was a little far out from the city but this may be of benefit for shopping reasons- it would have been cheaper for us to taxi out to cribs and back instead of paying the accrued £200 in taxi fares over the weekend- when all the activities and night life is in the centre why would you place some 6 miles away from this??? First night went without a hitch, Pole Dancing lesson was great and would reccommend that company to anyone- not only was it accessible for all ages they were so friendly they invited us to see how it was done in the evening- a real eye opener and very beautiful, broke a lot of peoples misconceptions! However on arrival to the club for the Saturday night- the main night for Fancy Dress- we were told that the night club does not do business with this third party company and they have told them to stop sending their customers tht way- so we had to pay to enter the nightclub which i belived was within the package we had paid for and left the weekend on a poor feeling! T-shirts did not arrive on time- they arrived after we had left for the weekend, a waste of money!

“Gemma's hen party bristol”

★★★☆☆

written by DanielleEdge on 29/02/2012

Overall the Hen party was excellent, very nice hotel and whole package good price. I just found the communication from Red Seven very poor during making the booking, I had to chase them quite a few times and got told different things by different people. Once documents received all good and party went very smoothly. All venues very friendly and no issues with any bookings.

“Amits Stag some good and bad points”

★★★☆☆

written by pankhania1 on 28/02/2012

when we arrived, we were greeted and taken to the hotel. the activities were good however on the pub crawl day there was a lapdancing club booked which was not in the list of activities. we also enjoyed the bobsleigh which everyone enjoyed. the saturday night lapdancing was good and was taken to essential bar which we were all disappointed with. we were told at the lapdancing place by our guide that it would cost 10 lats each for entrance so we all paid 10 lats, on arrival at the club we found out that there were posters in the toilets saying free entrance on saturdays. we felt ripped off at the fact that we have paid 110 lats to the guide. the guide had left us there and we made our own way to our hotel. we felt that redseven has let us down as when you are there in latvia then it is there rules and pay up and get ripped off. the guide was good and fairly helpful and also arranged a go karting and gun shooting activity for the sunday which we enjoyed. there was waiting around for the guide which we weren't happy about as we were ready but they were late. we were told to print off the travel pack and take with us and hand the relevant vouchers to the hotel and guide. no-one asked us for any vouchers and felt that this was a complete waste of our time as i had printed this out and made sure we had it. it would be handy to know how many lapdancing clubs we were going to visit as 1 extra for friday which was a surperise never the less good. please can you let them know in latvia not to tie you up and tape your mouth as the stag on the friday surprise lapdancing club was choking as tied to the pole and mouth taped up, he was trying to say something and mis understood for them tightening the belt until our intervention. overall good trip would recommend redseven just be careful out there not to get ripped off out there. the people there are representatives of redseven and feels like being ripped off by redseven.

“Riga - 17th-19th Feb”

★★★☆☆

written by mattyc83 on 21/02/2012

Overall the trip went well, but was a bit of headache in places. After wanting to add 2 x checked in luggage to our tickets, we were told we could just do this at the airport. However doing it that way was 75% more expensive. After phoning numerous times the day prior to leaving, finally we had our luggage added onto our tickets. However, one of the checked bag allowance was allocated to the wrong name. I was told this wasnt a problem and there was no need to correct it. Having got to the airport and tried to check the bags in, I wasnt allowed to, as the name was incorrect. This then involved having to get the person whose name it was incorrectly placed under, to come back out of the departure gate to sort it out. He had to check in my bag, using his passport etc. At 5.30 in the morning, this was not exactly ideal, as I was dealing with 16 people already. In terms of the trip itself, time keeping isnt exactly a strong point of X-dream. Not once did we ever leave on time for any of our pre-booked events, and were not even updated with reasons why. They literally kept us waiting, and I had to continually ask them for updates, of which they seemed to take offense too. During both journeys to and from the snowmobiling, to say we almost died twice in car accidents, would be an understatement. The women driving 8 people mini buses, trying to overtake lorries on a blind uphill road, with severe snow and ice, wasnt exactly fun, even for a group of rowdy stag guests. One bus missed an on coming vehicle by literally half a second. It was so bad, that all 16 people tried to bored one bus on the way home, as the other driver was purely abysmal. The rooms were initially nice, but not once were any towels changed, or rooms even cleaned or tidied. There was no soap or anything like that. It was still a trip that overall people enjoyed, but was definitely a lot of frustrations along the way.

had a few issues throughout the weekend the meal on the friday was booked for 4pm but didnt actually open until 5pm even though i had asked for it to be booked for 7.30pm luckily enough for us we got to blackpool early enough as we had a 4 hour journey from london the first club we went to that night reflex was a total flop it had only reopened that night so it was dead we ended going elsewhere after a couple of hours the pleasure beach on the saturday couldnt find our booking so we were waiting around for some time for this to be sorted and there was really only 2 rides we were able to go on as the rest were closed yet another waste of time club sanuk went well the staff looked after us was very pleased with that would recomend vip as the rest of the club gets so busy takes a long time to get served at the bar unless you are in vip cant fault the b&b staff were very nice & helpfull would use them again if i ever go back to blackpool all in all it was a good weekend in the end just a shame we had to change from the plans on occasions

“Nude Life Drawing Southampton”

★★★☆☆

written by LizBes on 30/01/2012

Red Seven took the ease out of searching around for venues, instructors and models and did all the hard work for me. I did the Nude Life Drawing which was hilarious and the instructor was so charismatic and genuinely taught us how to draw, so she was definitely worth the money. We then kept our own pictures and rated who produced the best and worst pictures which resulted in a hilarious drinking game. My only criticism would be that I was promised a hunky male model and we definitely didn't get one... but in a way this made the session even funnier and much more memorable. I would definitely use Red Seven again as being appointed a personal rep to look after your booking was really useful and contact was always returned straight away.

“Stag to Manchester October 2011”

★★★☆☆

written by on 01/11/2011

The pre-stag service was excellent and Nicky quickly sorted us out with a deal that suited our plans and for a good price. Once I had paid the deposit the service and care dropped off unfortunately and it felt very much like now we were commited Red Seven were no longer interested in catering to our needs and the required adjustments to the weekend. I would still recommend them though as it does take the pain out of organising and collecting monies from people which tend to be the hardest elements of organising such events.

“Read the small print!”

★★★☆☆

written by on 15/08/2011

After booking what looked a decent weekend for the 'boys' it became very apparent that all of the events, the accomidation and general banter was miles away from the hotel we were booked into. The hotel being a massive chain actually changed this for us at an extra cost, which im sure considering our year in advance booking of the stag do, could have easily been initial set up!

Thank you for taking your time for writing a review about your Redseven experience.

This doesn't sound usual especially as all of our customers are provided with full details of their itinerary before they travel.

We note you haven't raised this issue with us directly and we would welcome and appreciate it if you would discuss this with us further.

We hope you had a great weekend despite this issue and we look forward to hearing from you.

“stag kidnap riga”

★★★☆☆

written by andy1941 on 23/07/2011

The hotel x dream was fine but drinks were far more expensive than the rest of riga 1.5lats 2.0 only between 1pm /3pm food was really expensive 12lats for a pizza dances where 20 lats 28pound a bit much for a dance. Some of the group were put in rooms across the road with the air con not working and the windows would not open. The hotel was clean but is ran to take as much money as it can from you.On the friday was a pub crawl this was great till we where taken to a lap dancing bar called blow a dance was 45lats 65pound for a standard dance a total rip off 1 vodka and coke and a shot was 12lats we left in under 2 mins not happy. The stag kidnap on the sat was the best bit it was really realistic the stag did not have a clue what was happening we were supposed to be taken to a non rip off lapdancing bar which turned out to be our hotel not as i was told when i booked or on my information pack but was informed by the guide this was the norm. The guide was great very friendly and all the staff too still never saw a red seven rep for the hole trip as a hole one of the best places to go would go back in a heart beat but not to x dream i would go to a more central hotel a wee bit to far out at the x dream and the hole package had far too much lapdancing considering you have them at the hotel from 6to6 as a hole not to bad better location would have made it 100% i would rate it a 65% down to hotel.

Hey there Andy,

Thank you for taking the time out to write about your experience with Redseven. We're really pleased you enjoyed Riga as a destination for the stag weekend!

We've taken on board what you've said regarding the drink prices in the X-Dream hotel and the lapdance club drink and dance prices.

In terms of the price of drinks in both venues, as you can understand, this is not something we are able to control. However, we will raise this in our products department to see if there is a lapdance club with better drink and dance rates.

Glad you enjoyed the kidnap the stag and we hope you and the guys have a great time at the wedding!
