Paid 1200 for what I thought was a good watch 2.5 years ago, it never really worked properly after a year, should have taken it back then, but husband just put up with it, time went on. Finally took it back just out of warranty, and they have the audacity to want to charge £300 for a service. Service what, the stupid thing never worked properly.. I am writing this as a warning to those of you who might be tempted to buy one, you are paying for the name only, they certainly do not sell quality watches. You are being ripped off. I worked several hours overtime to buy this as a special present. What a rip off. Previously my husband had a kinetic seiko, lasted for over 10 years, did not need a service. Should have stuck with one of those again and saved myself £800.

Bought watch as a birthday present. Within 2 months crown wheel disappeared.
Repaired by Tag, took ages to return
Crown wheel came adrift once more repaired again. Two failures, too many.
Would not encourage anyone to buy this watch.
An expensive mistake. Looks are not everything, 0/5.

This F1Chronotimer is my second Tag watch. Both bought brand new. Both needed subsequent repair within a couple of years. Each repair cost around $150. After the repairs they worked fine. However, I would not buy another Tag as I do not consider them a reliable watch. Even my old Bulova and Swiss Army watches are more reliable.
