Another Lush Order Has Been Placed By Me And In Th
Another Lush order has been placed by me and in the shipment was, along with a lot of other bits, this "Lush Mange Too Massage Bar". This bar looks fantastic on the Lush website and would be perfect for my bad back. All I have to really do is persuade my other half to do a bit of work and give me a massage!
Price and Packaging:
I paid a mere £4.95 pence for this product, which has a weight of 100 grams. I really do think this is a reasonable price for something like this. You would normally expect to pay around the same sort of price or perhaps a little more for a bottle of massage oil. With buying a massage bar instead of a bottle of oil, you are not left with a plastic bottle to throw away, as this product, along with most Lush produce comes in basic packaging. It is wrapped only in a clear cellophane wrapper with a Lush logo plastered across and an information sticker to show all the product information. In my opinion having this small piece of cellophane is far better than having to throw away a large plastic bottle. As well as smelling good and feeling good, I can also be environmentally friendly!
Look and Smell:
This bar initially appealed to me because of the description of the product itself. The honey, white chocolate and fresh bananas that are use to make this product are really to my taste. On receiving this massage bar I was not at all disappointed! The bar is shaped in a rather unusual honeycomb/hexagon shape and has the most beautifully rich biscuit like colouring to it. The top of the bar has small raised honeycomb indentations moulded into it and gives it a very honey like feel.
The beautiful aroma coming from the bar is something that pleased me greatly. I could really smell the warm honey odour oozing from the massage bar even before I had rubbed it between my hands. I could faintly smell the vanilla like fragrance that is like that of white chocolate. The bar is very strong in fragrance but because the smell is so pleasant the fragrance is not in the least over powering.
General Use:
The only way I could persuade my other half to give me a massage was to tempt him with one first (really it was blackmail, because once I had given him one how could he say no to giving me one). The good thing of having both given and received massages with this bar, is that I have got to experience the bar from both sides of the use of the bar, and to be honest I enjoyed both!
The bar was so easy to use and far easier than having a bottle of oil. As soon as the bar was turned over a few times in the palms of my hands, the oils began to flow and flow they did. I was really amazed at actually how the oils were escaping from the bar with such ease. The smell coming from the bar was even more ferocious now that it was being used and the fragrance really is to die for!
The shape of the bar actually made it easier to grip in my hands and the edges actually seemed to give out the most oils. The joy of using this massage bar instead of a bottle of massage oil is that you don't have to fiddle around with getting a lid on and off, which with oily hands is always nightmare! Another bonus is not being able to use too much, with a bottle of oil it is really easy to accidentally pour half the bottle over some one's back but with this there is no chance of that when using this bar.
A little really does go a long way and the oils are very thin and very oily. The oils when rubbed for around 20 to 30 minutes do soak into your skin and the lovely Mange Too bar scent lingers around the skin making you feel all warm and cosy.

Conclusion:
This product for me could get nothing less than a 10/10.
I love this Mange Too Massage Bar and I will certainly be buying this again once this bar has run out. I don't think that will be for a while because as I said previously a little does go a long way which means I still have plenty of the bar left to use up.
The fragrance of this product really is second to none and I would recommend this massage bar to anyone who likes the smell of honey or vanilla. The smell is a sweet scent to the nose but it is not at all sickly smelling
For the price you are paying, you are, I feel, getting a true bargain.
I hope this has been of some help to you.
Many thanks for reading.
