Sad Rip-off Merchants

Ordered an item and sent straight back as it was the wrong one. They have no phone number and have they have never responded to the 10 or so polite emails I have sent them. TIP: If you ever have to send anything back to these clowns - DON'T - sell it on Ebay and at least you'll get some money back. I'm at least pleased that it's obvious to anyone with half a brain that all the 5 star reviews of this company are fake and they'll be out of business soon.

Really (purely) Awful

They are a shambles. Ordered some "instock items", credit card debited immediately, items didn't arrive after 5+ weeks, still awaiting refund after cancellation of said order six weeks ago. First the telephone number went, then the contact page on the website. A completely amateur operation if I'm feeling charitable, but one suspects it is rubbish. I'm not impressed that they seem to sell on Amazon. It says (in bold) on the Amazon site "Your credit card will not be charged until the order has been dispatched." Bull.

Don't Use This Company!

Ordered a phone through the Tesco website in September and paid over £250. Was told it would be delivered in 3 - 5 days.

To date, no phone and no refund, despite numerous calls and emails both to PurelyGadgets and Tesco Direct, who basically aren't interested as long as they're getting their fees for putting this company on their website.

As of yesterday, the phone was still showing as 'In Stock' on their website and a Sales Hotline operator assured me that it was in stock, ready for delivery in 3 - 5 days!

DO NOT RISK GIVING YOUR MONEY TO THIS COMPANY OF FRAUDSTERS!

"in Stock" Scam Still Continues At Pg

I ordered the Samsung Galaxy 3 from Purely Gadgets via Tesco website. PG claimed SG3 is in stock and delivery in 2-5 days. 2 weeks later the order status is still "processing". The stock status is a lie (told none available by PG on phone) and that seems fraudulent to me. From other reviews it seems this is common practice at PG. And they are still showing SG3 in stock despite telling me different by phone.

They also say "Top 3 Reasons Why You Should Buy From US: ... In stock means in stock, and quick trackable delivery." That statement together with phone advice from PG that SG3 is still not available seems to me to be evidence of intent to deceive.

I've had several conflicting updates from PG on when I will get my SG3 but I'm still waiting.

I was told that they would change the stock status for SG3, but a week later and it is still showing "in stock". They just seem to say what customer wants to hear and then do something different.

Even the phone support system lies - told me wait is less than one minute and then kept me for 15 mins before I hung up. And I was later told by phone support that I would be called by their management to explain - that never happened.

It all seems like a litany of lies from Purely Gadgets, so I would recommend you find a reputable vendor for spending your gadget cash.

Purelygadgets Purelyexcellent

I cannot praise purelygadgets enough, this company is excellent. I ordered my smartphone on Saturday and I had my goods on the Monday, they kept me informed even emailed me to tell me the time the phone would be delivered. I found this company by mistake, best mistake I've made the prices are excellent, delivery excellent and customer service excellent a 1st rate company. I will be directing all my family and friends to purelygadgets I just wish I had found this company earlier.

Repeat Customer Born!

I ordered the xoom firstly from simplyelectronics.net and then cancelled the order(seem my other review)so, I was fairly nervous spending the relatively large dollop of dosh with another online shop. Oh how fickle fear is! Within 1 phone call and one order later I had hoped and prayed i hadn't made the same mistake again. I was promised the xoom the next day (oh yeah?) and so patiently / impatiently waited the next day for the arrival of my new toy. They 'promised' it's arrival between 2.45 and 3.45 At 3.00pm IT ARRIVED. I had excellent comms' with the company and will definitely be using them again, and again. I do NOT give praise easily or lightly, but this company gets my totally confident 5* vote - well done purely gadgets!

I Placed An Order On A Monday, An E-mail Was Sent

I placed an order on a Monday, an e-mail was sent out saying my product would be with me in 2 to 5 days. On the 4th day I tracked my order only to find that it was still in processing, I e-mailed to ask why, and was it out of stock, although it clearly stated it was in stock when I placed the order, I was told the logistic dept were very busy and not to worry as I had been allocated a product and it would be dispatched mid to late the following week. A week later I recieved an e-mail stating that in fact they had run out of stock and could not tell me when they would be getting anymore. when I queried the e-mail about already having been allocated a product I was told it was a mistake, oh and by the way they had taken the money out of my account when I had placed the order nearly 2 weeks previous.

I WOULD NOT TOUCH THIS COMPANY WITH A BARGE POLE, ABSOLUTE RUBBISH

I Ordered A Pair Of Shure Srh440 Headphones Which

I ordered a pair of shure srh440 headphones which at the time according to there web site were in stock ,also received a conformation email saying i would have the item within 2 to 5 working days ,on the fifth day of the week (Friday) still no headphones so sent them an email, the response was that due to the backlog in logistics it would take a bit longer than usual.

It is now Friday of the second week still you guessed it NO HEADPHONES

I have asked for a refund according to them will take 3 to 5 working days, This is without doubt the worst company on the internet i have dealt with, Please save yourself the hassle and don't use them EVER!!!

If Something Goes Wrong, The Customer Service At P

If something goes wrong, the customer service at PurelyGadgets, from there on in, is appalling: they just can't cope with interacting with customers. 10 weeks of pure disaster stories; still no working product. They are totally driven around their systems; almost impossible to get them to accept they have problems.
