Let me start with “WOW” my father in law has just been sacked from your Crawley branch for eating 3 mini pork pies whilst out working for you! they were returned by a customer so you know as well as I that they would have gone in the bin he was feeling very sickly as he hadn’t eaten yet rather than start throwing up and having to go home he ate them, its obvious its not a regular thing as they can tell by his returns it all goes back! assuming they do THEIR jobs. If I could put zero I would. Shielding I have to ... on the GOV/NHS list and been a very long standing customer of Ocado however with no recent orders (long story... it’s bend a horrific few years for me). Ocado have cut me off and cast me out... Just because I haven’t had a recent order. Long standing customer means nothing. This company is truly rubbish. “25 missing items driver never told me”

I had the worst experience today. Waited 16 days since my last delivery and added some items for 94 year old neighbour and her daughter who are isolating. After I checked the delivery noticed 25 missing items costing nearly £59. I have a back injury so depend on Ocado. Called customer service no one working it seems. Last delivery 2 packets of paracetamol were missing I asked for refund by email and never got it yet. Trying now to raise complaint with paypal. Ruined my day ......despicable… Read Full Review

“Worst customer service ”

I paid for groceries on 9/12/19. Groceries were delivered and I saw the payment in my credit card app. 3 days ago I see an email saying the payment had not been taken due to issue with MasterCard and they would now take payment. This took me over limit on my credit card. Called, emailed and spoke to manager, Ocado do not care at all that this will affect my credit file. “charing me £80 for a delivery that they failed 2x ”

So disappointed, I had an order cancelled at the last minute with no notification or explanation and then reordered the items for another day. the driver had difficulty getting into my building and the order was cancelled and I have been charged £80 for perishables. I have spoken to customer services 3 times to tell them that I was at home and spoke to the driver when I eventually got hold of him but to no avail. “Rude aggressive drivers, food that is bad.”

We had the most despicable driver ever deliver our Ocado groceries a few weeks ago, very rude, aggressive, we were not having any of his attitude - not when we pay his wages, so he was told to take the whole delivery back with him. Having received a phone call from the driver at 5.30 telling me he was going to be 2 hours late have now received a phone call from the drive saying he will not deliver tonight but did not give any valid reason. “Could so easily be much better”

On the positive side, there is a good selection of products (if a liitle pricey, perhaps, being from Waitrose) and the drivers are invariably punctual, helpful and polite. Sadly, the whole experience is let down by abysmal packing. I have complained directly about this several times, but there has been no improvement. “Never any substitutes, good dates”

We've been using Ocado for many years now. The drivers are always great, on time and always smiling. I particularly like that they have long dates on fresh stuff, and I've had two substitutes in all these years. They keep their website updated with stock which is good. I do have a good look and try to buy things on offer where possible to keep the cost down. The have a lot of things you can't get elsewhere, or in very few places. I have ordered baby milk , water and fruit for the baby and the van broke down so they called me and they promised the delivery will be send to mine the day after. The day after they called me again and they told me they couldn't send it. I was with Ocado for a good year and used the reserved slot service however if you book a holiday this doesn't cancel your order (this is an order that Ocado auto generate and generally will bare no resemblance to what you usually order ie 3 different loafs of bread when I usually order 1 or 3 different packets of tomatoes again I have order 1 in the past) If you do not accept the order they will charge you for anything that is perishable - it is food so it is all perishable! Absolutely dreadful new website. I'm sorry but for me it looks cheap and nasty, is unclear, and it takes ages to get through the checkout as you have to get through a load of items you don't want. I agree with the other 2 negative reviews I read on this site. Please change it back, Ocado, as I have been a loyal customer of Ocado for a long time and the last review I wrote on this site was a 5 star one. I have used Ocado for few years with no problem at all. However my last order was a joke. Some vegetables were missing and on the top of that I have received kale infested with some bags (full of web and web nests)! It was supposed to be added to the green smoothie for my daughter!!! I have been a customer of Ocado for over 6 years. Their customer service is not as good as it used to be and they seem to now think it is okay to inform you of a late delivery well into or past your delivery slot time.
