Certina DS Podium Chrono Quartz

Its a luxury watch, really feels good to wear them. Great watch.

I recently bought a SS DS Podium and I'm really happy I did! I own an Omega speed master and an old Tag as well so It's not my first decent watch.

It looks great on the wrist, is uber reliable and it really is as tough as they say ( I'm a chef, so it gets a fair bit of abuse) it has never let me down. I couldn't recommend them enough to be honest. Amazing value compared to my Omega....

Like many others here, I too bought this over a vacation in zurich after noticing it on the back cover of one of the magz that are placed all over hotels to do just that. Saw it in a boutique the next day and bought, thought was its a reasonably prized watch that will serve as a souvenir of the sort (I had never heard of the brand before, as no one who don't owns a certina has). I am surprised after 7+ years it is still going strong looking new (I wear it almost *everyday* for the past 4 years). Sent it for service only twice (first time was covered under warranty) to NYC in all this time. Got the strap replaced once (any strap would give up after this kind of abuse ;).

Alert, If you buy this watch you'll silently fall in love with it, its not loud but get enough heads turned. People often feel compelled to ask about it and don't hesitate complement.

Did not expect this kind of endurance and quality, though I am not sure why I didn't!

I bought my Certina DS Podium a little over a yaer ago. I noticed it in an advertisement on the back cover of a magazine. It looked so good on the picture that I went wild, and wanted to buy it still that day. I did, and I was very happy with it, but after some days the big hand of the stop watch did not return to zero (or 12)anymore when I pushed reset. I was very sorry that it went wrong so quickly, but then it turned out that it did not. It is just that I made mistake when I was adjusting the calendar of the watch, and pushed one of the buttons exidentally. Using the same technique now purposely the zero position could be put back to normal. So now everybody is happy again.

Since I have the DS podium I do not feel like wearing any of my other watches, and I am starting to get questions from my wife why I need so many if I only use one.

Great looking watch and good value for money. After few days I was didn't even feel them on my hand. Many friends were asking about the make and model because they liked the desing. The only problem were the chronograph hands which have gone loose after about a week of wearing. Since it was a mechanical failure not caused by external source, it was covered by the warranty and I got a replacement with no problems at all.

I purchased this beatiful Certina DS Podium Chrono Quartz - leather time piece a couple of months back.. I love it.. good quality, reliable and great appearance. If your looking to buy something that looks like a breitling, or tag hauer, this a great option for a quarter of the price of one of those. I get a lot of compliments from a lot of people.

Bought the Certina DS Podium as something special. It looks good but has been unreliable. The sweep (chronograph) hands lose their position and the watch often stops or loses the time for no apparent reason - this started when only a few weeks old. The UK has no retail support so it has to be sent off which is pretty useless. Have emailed for support and wait with baited breath

Purchased my Certina DS Podium Chrono Quartz as a momento of a wonderful xmas vacation in Switzerland 2007, my DS Podium has since become my everyday wearer. It has deleivered completely reliable and accurate performance. As a sports watch, it features unique and stunning styling. I often notice it catching the eye of people I meet, drawing those ' I like your watch. What is it? ' comments.

This watch is astonishingly good looking, keeps time with great accuracy, well I guess it's normal since it is a Swiss Made Timepiece.

In relation to its price, The quality is GREAT.

I wear it proudly on special occasions and the customer service, based in Switzerland is amongst The BEST In The World.

I have for quite some time now and by the way its looking, it seems that it will stay on my side for many more years to come.

If you would like a watch that competes with the Likes of Omega or Longines for a Fraction of their cost than CERTINA is Definitely the watch for you...!!

It looks good, great even, potentially 'Certina is the new black'. A real man's watch. If Jack Bauer was going to be a watch, he'd consider being a Certina at least. When it was working, for those first 15-18 months, kept very accurate time. Now... between that and the watch band breaking (glad it happened at home and not somewhere out and about as I likely would have missed it), the watch is more poser than real watch. That and the customer service issue, where I feel I was treated as a suspect before any of the repair work is carried out...

I'll persist with the one I have but I doubt I will go with Certina again.
