I loved this wine, Robert's Rock ! In fact my husband and I have decided that it is our new favourite. It has a deep, full flavour that I cannot totally describe except that it is very satisfying to the palette.

Robert's Rock, South African Cabernet Sauvignon Mi
Robert's Rock, South African Cabernet Sauvignon mixed with Merlot grapes, is an interesting blend on offer for less than £3. Bought at Asda due to the price I wasn't expecting much, but pleasantly surprised by the nutty and smoky taste it presents.
Infused with rich berries with vanilla undertones it is a light alternative to the heaviness that usually marries itself to the Merlot grape.
However the smoky oakness shines through this cheeky little number making it a perfect partner for rich stews and duck dishes. Yet the lightness makes those summer nights oh so much warmer.
An excellent buy, defiantly recommend.
