The Vt Series Holden Calais (1997-2001)was Upgrade
The VT series Holden Calais (1997-2001)was upgraded to the VX series (cosmetic changes) in late 2001.It is a good looking, powerful & spacious car with equipment rivalling BMW , such as dual climate control air conditioning,memory ignition keys (memorises radio station, transmission settings, air conditioning settings etc and restores them when that person drives the car),also has power everything including electric seats & a 12 function trip computer & traction control.THe V6 has a top speed of 220km/hr and the V8 is about 20km/hr faster.The V6 has remarkable economy & can give up to 7l/100kms (40 mpg)at a constant 120-130km /hr (highway).Costs around $50,000 (Aus)new.
