“love my pliko pramette”

Written on: 15/11/2012

This is the best buy ever, i got a total steal at only £200, its nippy and lightweight, easy to stear and to fit in small shops because its narrow, i think this is the only pram that would have fitted in my car (fiat seicento)!! easy to fold down just 2 clicks and done, easy to carry too. had no problams fitting my little girl in it and shes 1, and still has plenty of room to move, would recommend to any one that wants a long lasting pram/buggy… Read Full Review

“Love it!”

Written on: 09/07/2011

Just purchased for baby number two as old o-zon pram has been flood damaged between pregnancies and I can use the same car seat with the Pliko. Pushes like a dream! Actually more enjoyable to push than our buggy, seems to glide better. Tested with our two year old, fits in no problem which is a relief as I has seen some reviews where people said they struggled with young babies. Don't know how! Pram mode is lovely, can't feel the harness at all! Irrelevant really though as I will be lining… Read Full Review

I loved this pram as soon as I saw it, the Pliko Pramette is gorgeous. Purchased the complete package with all of the extras and I must say I think this pram is brilliant; it is so lightweight and easy to push and looks stylish at the same time. Would highly recommend this to anyone… Read Full Review

Pliko Pramette mimi....Well ive been using this pram for 6 and a half months and absolutely love it, its so stylish and Light weight,I originally bought a different pram with spring suspension and a big frame however as I have had a bad back since being a teenager I couldnt life it into the boot and found it difficult to steer so when i saw that the pliko pramette had won awards for being the lightest pram I went out and bought it. I can lift it and manouver it with ease, I will say it is a… Read Full Review

Written on: 16/02/2011

i have the pilko pramette in polka. after spending hundreds on pushchairs and prams, i will say that the pilko is the best ive ever had! ive had the cheapest to the dearest and most of them were rubbish. i brought my pilko second hand and even though it did take mw a while to get used to it, its the best cash ive ever spent. i really do wish i had known about the pilko polka 4 years ago because i would have brought one for my son also. i was nervous about it at first because it did feel like… Read Full Review

Written on: 25/06/2010 by mrspayne (3 reviews written)

I love my pliko pramette. With so many negative reviews I felt I had to write my own.
We wanted a lightweight buggy that you didn't need to remove/add any parts to to have pram and bugy modes as we have limited storage space. In pram mode there was plenty of room for my little girl to wiggle around and we never had any complaints from her. She loves buggy mode now she's bigger. The free harness is perfect for her. I can have the back slightly reclined ready for a nap/relax but she can stil sit… Read Full Review

“Mamas and Papas Pramette Plico 3 I had to write this...”

Written on: 29/04/2010

Mamas and Papas Pramette Plico 3 I had to write this review as those which I came across are very innacurate and written by people who used the pram for a few months. I had mine for 3 years and 7 months and I am about to buy another one (this time with the switch option) for my second son.
My toddler slept in the pram flat from birth, it was his security place where we nursed him when he was poorly and we took it on holiday where it provided excellent place for him to have a nap on the beach… Read Full Review

Be very wary. They've 'improved' it. We had a a 2004 model and went straight for one for no 2 in 2010. Not the same pushchair at all.

“-Very comfortable in both pram and pushchair modes. ”

Written on: 28/11/2009

-Very comfortable in both pram and pushchair modes.
-Newborn can lie flat even in the pushchair mode. If you don't want it completely flat you can raise it just a bit higher which is again fine!
-Big sun hood that can cover all the baby if you want!
-Tight, safe harness, stops baby from falling.
-Good rain cover, can adjust easily without using its buttons, with zip, it doesn't leave any rain to fall in, fastens nicely at the bottom so no cold air can come in.
-Child can stay soooo warm being… Read Full Review

Written on: 30/09/2009

Am surprised so many bad reviews on the Mamas and Papas Pliko Pramette, I loved my pramette! It looks so stylish, very padded and comfy. Quite easy to convert. I never had any problems with the pram mode but a harness for safety would be nice. Basket a bit difficult to access and did get a few holes after a while. The hood is fantastic, pulls almost down to completely cover baby if too sunny. I used it for the first year then bought a lightweight stroller as it is fairly heavy to keep getting… Read Full Review

I recently had to purchase a new pushchair, i owned a maclaren (sp) stroller that was suitable from birth but it lasted for 7 months and the wheel fell off. I tried to contact the manufactors who fobbed me off claiming i had owned it for too long. I bought this Mamas and Papas Pliko Pramette p second hand from a friend,it was in fab condition and my little girl loves it. I will definately be buying a mamas and papas puschair for future children… Read Full Review

I have been using the Mamas and Papas Pliko Pramette for 4months now and love it. I love that it is light weight and folds small. I love that i can see my daughter. I love that it feels strong. My daughter is 4months and 12lbs 9onz and she will still fit in the pram bit faceing me for months. Its great. She looks so snuggled in it. I am not new to prams. I have owned over 40 and (3 children) i also have a stokke xplory a bugaboo frog and a bugaboo bee and i still love this pram so that must… Read Full Review

Written on: 10/01/2009

The Mamas and Papas Pliko Pramette is excellent, have had for four and a half years, two kids, well worth the money. In pram mode you have to zip the bottom and top together over the bumper bar then the baby's head will not be lower but higher than feet. This is not poor design but poor usage. There is a loop on my model to attach the five point harness to the back of the pushchair. A five month old should not be sat up at all in a pushchair!!… Read Full Review

We've inherited this pram and despite reading and re-reading the instructions still have a dip in pram mode. The rear seems to rest against the handle you use to fold it but the head end is suspended and therefore dips. Any suggestions?

Written on: 01/01/2008 by 123warren (1 review written)

The Mamas and Papas Pliko Pramette is the best pushchair I have ever had, and I have had a fair few. This is now my third P3, and I still love it. You can use it for going out in a car. My Ma has got a Saab convertible and it fits great in the boot, and I can fit the Navetta carrycot in there as well. It is fab to push, and my little one is so comfy in it. He loves it. The basket is a nice size too. I do not know how people can not like them. The harness is fine as well, as long as when it is… Read Full Review

Strollermaster's Response to 123warren's Review

Written on: 29/04/2008

Are you telling me you can get something 18 x 20 x 44 inches into a Saab convertible ? Have to tried getting it into a typical urban car like a Corsa ? And you've bought 3 of them - what happened to the other 2 ? You also claim that it's very comfortable for children - with a chair width of 9 inches, how is it physically possible for a child to sit back and nap without haunching its shoulders ? The infamous 3 / 5-point harness was already seen children's heads flung, and the temperamental braking is already seen the buggies run loose on public transport. More like 2 out of 10.

I love my pramette and it has had a huge amount of use. Have used the in pushchair mode as a place for the afternoon nap, I like the way (now son is older) can sit forward quite a way and have a look around when it takes his fancy! Other than the heavy car seat, I haven't really got a complaint about this - fantastic buy… Read Full Review

Written on: 10/06/2007 by lovebug1011 (3 reviews written)

After working in pushchair repairs at Mothercare for 5 years, I saw plenty of rubbish pushchairs come through the doors. I also noticed that many pregnant women would come in dreaming of a big bouncy framed pushchair but would come back a few months later to buy something less fussy or big.
I decided that I would get a Mamas and Papas Pliko Pramette, they fold lovely and small, very easily and would fit in the back of my new astra. I decided on the pramette because I liked the idea of my… Read Full Review

Written on: 26/07/2006 by amandajennings (1 review written)

Mamas & Papas Pliko Pramette is the most fantastic pushchair created! My little boy is so happy in his pushchair - it lasts you from birth (in its carrycot mode) all the way through to toddler, all you need to do is flip over the fabric and zip it around the back and it converts to a pushchair! It is also the lightest weight travel system on the market, folds compact and I can get it into my little car! I love it and would recommend it to all mums and dads to go check this product out! Also I… Read Full Review

I own one a Mamas and Papas Pliko Pramette, and they are very good (except they are quite heavy). But this review is just a little too 'marketing' speak.
