I Got This Player For My Daughter, Later On My Son

I got this player for my Daughter, later on my son wanted one as well, so as it was fairly cheap I ended up buying another. Both of my kids love their player and have not looked backed since. Its a great little player and if something goes wrong, not too expensive to replace.

My Mp3's Were In Real Player Format As I Downloade

My MP3's were in Real player format as I downloaded. The first trouble came when I received a message that my disk was full, so when I decided to delete some tracks the ATMT Lite MP130BK MP3 player froze when I disconnected it from the USB, as it didn't respond, and it's still not working!!

The ATMT LITE MP 130BK 256Mb MP3 player is cheap as chips, and very serviceable once you get to know the player. It is robust and reliable, and there are no expensive replacement Li-ion batteries to replace at extortionate prices.

If You Are Paying £15 For A 256mb Player The

If you are paying £15 for a 256Mb player then the ATMT LITE MP130BK 256MB is OK, but DO NOT buy the 512Mb or 1 or 2Gb versions. It would be better to buy a properly supported Sony player or an iPod. You will get bona fide firmware upgrades there.

The bigger capacity S1 MP3 players are not worth it. They may not even have the Flash Drive capacity you think you are paying for.

The poor instructions led to the problems ....mp3 or .wma files must be downloaded into the player in single folders only ...i.e. a CD ripped to .wma files then those files must be in one single folder ...the player will only see single folders ..multiple folders and it will see nothing and report "no files!"

See the S1 mp3 site for user guides ...

Overall ,I have to report now that these players, sold in various cases and under a multiplicity of brand names, are simply ace...or the poor man's iPod and possibly better.

I Set Up My Atmt Lite Mp130bk 256mb Mp3 Player, An

I set up my ATMT LITE MP130BK 256MB MP3 player, and it was detected as an external drive as normal by Windows XP. I managed to download .wma files ripped from CD's via Windows Media Player. I used it for a week then removed music files via the drive shown on My Computer. Thereafter, it was utterly useless. I downloaded .wma files but the "music" icon could not find them, nor could the "voice" icon. the firmware appeared to be corrupted somehow. Save up a bit more money and get an MP3 player from Sony or Samsung. This gadget is just an expensive memory stick! Forget it as an MP3 player.
