Written on: 27/08/2009 by Ping Li (1 review written)

This week I bought a Refurbished DS Lite for my girls, because she asks for a long time. Considering she is a little girl so I bought this original one for her, she is very happy. The color is pink, and can play a lot of games, the most important is that it only costs me $89.9, but has the same functions as the original DS Lite. So here I want to recommed this website to you: … Read Full Review

***Nintendo DS Lite***
The Nintendo DS is a handheld game console whch has 2 bright screens, 3D technoology and has touch screen technology. It also has wireless communication which means you can challenge your friends and family at any time & anywhere!

* Touch Screen Technology - You can use the touch screen by either using your finger, a blunt instrument or the stylus which is provided.

* Dual Screens - This gives you action on both screens wchih gives you twice the amount of added fun… Read Full Review

Written on: 17/01/2009

The Nintendo DS is easy to carry round. Good for all ages - i take it to work and ive had everyone playing it from 6 to 88.
The choice of games isn't the best - Sims 2 is completely different on the ds and is really boring because of it. But new and better games are coming out in the future. Overall it's really good fun… Read Full Review

Written on: 15/08/2008 by res2216firestar (1 review written)

My first game system, the Nintendo ds is way better than my expectations, the microphone and stylus make it a better experience, ds games have awesome 3D graphics, it takes dirt cheap game boy advance games too!Overall it's a really cool handheld system, the awesome pros balance out the tiny cons, I would recommend this system to a friend. That is, if all my friends didn't already own one! The touchscreen gets scratched up really easily, sometimes blowing into the mic is hard and gets spit all… Read Full Review

Written on: 07/05/2008 by lorr (3 reviews written)

Touch screen eventually scratched. I did have a stick on screen saver at first but didn't replace it once it had worn. So don't make same mistake as me! After about 10 months of use a hinge broke, company did offer to repair it but I didn't want to be without fit or about a month (Saddo I am), but its still going strong 18 months later.
Great little console, Daughter has a psp but she prefers to play on my ninetendo. Wish there was more games available for us old codgers though… Read Full Review

Written on: 23/03/2008

The Nintendo DS Lite is pretty good. Not too expensive. Good for all ages, the whole family will love this. Easy to use, even for middle aged women! Not a confusing array of buttons like the PSP. Can't think of any yet, but may be the lack of buttons means that there is less ability to play complex games (may be!). Im glad I read the Nintendo DS lite reviews here and made a good choice… Read Full Review

Easy to use, light and addictive.

Addictive, expensive (needs to be about £15 cheaper) games expensive (buy used).

'm 44 and am addictive to this little games console great fun and you can play multi players on the same game. Took ages to find one just after Christmas but managed to get one from HMV… Read Full Review

“The Nintendo DS lite is an all new much improved...”

Written on: 04/11/2007 by xrockrosesx (1 review written)

The Nintendo DS lite is an all new much improved version of the DS. It is 21% lighter and much smaller and compact. Previously, when the DS came out even major Nintendo fans couldn't help but admit that the DS was, well hideous. At the time of its release the Nintendo was like the ugly duckling, in more ways than one - the DS was ugly, heavy, bulky, and was like the odd one out from the competition hand held consoles. And if the overall design isn't bad enough, both screens in the DS were dull… Read Full Review

Written on: 17/09/2007 by ukwarwickdood (5 reviews written)

The Nintendo DS Lite is a good console and I'd certainly recommend it. It's fairly cheap as this sort of technology goes, and the games are well built little cartridges which I would imagine could probably survive a few days in sharing a pocket with some melted sweets.

A good range of games, and compatibility with the Nintendo GBA give you even more reason to buy, and if you're into the homebrew scene you can also run Nintendo Gameboy and NES games using Movie Advance… Read Full Review

Written on: 03/04/2007 by Rabbit banger (15 reviews written)

The DS in my opinion is not good looking; its chunky, dull and boring, its like carrying a brick in your pocket........not anymore! The DS has evolved [pokemon pun] into a DS lite. Yes apart from the obvious it is lighter and also its no longer dull and boring the brightness of the screen has increased and its no longer chunky. It has looks of an Apple Macbook with Nintendo's clever touchscreen its very slim as well. The choice of games is good also and so is the connectivity. It is fun and is… Read Full Review

Written on: 28/10/2006 by Greentoastrack (11 reviews written)

The original Nintendo DS amazed us all with it's bright backlight, long battery life and sleek design. Then came the DS Lite. The light is brighter, the battery life is longer and the design is even sleeker.

Nintendo has always been the leader in the handheld games console market, and I believe now is no exception. Nintendo were against some stiff competition as well, from console giants Sony. But in many aspects Nintendo won the battle of the handheld consoles.

The battery life lasts much… Read Full Review
