The Sony Ericsson Hbh-gv435 Has A Good Design And

The Sony Ericsson HBH-GV435 has a good design and is light weight. with sony or other phone you cannot hear music, i think its sony issue. The sound appears in the other side like echo. Overall I would say it'sgood but not perfect

Typical Sony Ericsson Quality. A Little Bit Bulky

Typical Sony Ericsson Quality. A little bit bulky behind the ear. A nice piece of kit, exchanged it for Jabra BT 5020, what a difference

The Sony Ericsson Hbh-gv435 Doesn't Seem To Last M

The Sony Ericsson HBH-GV435 doesn't seem to last more than 6 months until the rubber piece and the battery piece became "unglued", Google this thing you will find a lot of people with the same problem. I do not know why I keep buying SE products , I guess the "cool" factor when they are released but 4 phones have been total disasters 1 of them being sent back 4 times for repair. I guess this time I am putting my foot down and bidding SE bye bye.

I Am Loving It. I Bought Two Of These And I Am Lov

I am loving it. I bought two of these and I am loving it. I will sell one of them on ebay. It is very light in weight and the sound is great. I can wear it all day and never feel tired or pressed. I look very professional with this on my ear than those protruding and flashing light earpieces.

I Am Now Owning My Third Hbh435. I Have Had A No L

I am now owning my third HBH435. I have had a no less than 25 different bluetooth headsets over the past 12 months. I have given them off to my friends. As for the SONY HBH 435, it's got the best audio. I use it with my P990i, W950i and my M600i. Sony seems to be good on their overall audio quality - second to none. I have all the models of SE on the top end down to the K810i, and now the W850i. All the audio is exceptionally good. The hi-pass and low pass filters are very non-linear, and I enjoy using it when I drive. One thing here, I also have all the Nokia models from the top down to the 9300i. Nokia's audio sucks, regardless. It's like asking a shoe maker to sew a shirt. They can manage, but they not tailors. Hence, my Nokia's lie on my desks at the office and home. They are there only as redundant usage in the event I run out of battery or the service provider fails.

Also note that the Sony's all have digital signal processing, which has a higher bandwidth and wavelength. As for the Nokia's, they use low grade DSP output filters, or their programmers are just nerdy programmers, who are not fine audio professionals.

I have been using Sony's Digital D1 professional cameras for many years, and I am also an owner of the Sony Digital 48 Multitracks for more than 10 years now. Nokia is a phone manufacturer. Hence, Ericsson did a smart move by merging into Sony. I have older handsets of Ericssons that work fine in terms of features, but had an improved audio after they became part of Sony.

10 out of 10 for the HBH GV435.

My advice is Sony has streamlined the DSP and it is consistent with the DSP chipset in the phones, even on the lower end models that come with bluetooth. The only problem I have with Sony is they were late by ONE YEAR in coming out with phones. I think they have to get their phone engineers to redesign the SIM Card removal on their physical phones. That is the only crack really on the glass for SONY Ericsson.

I hope their engineer who accepted that realises that not everyone has long fingernails and (small as well). Plus, it damages your SIM card each time you want to swap a SIM card.

Have Had This For A Few Days Only And I Have Alrea

Have had this for a few days only and I have already stopped using it and will be returning it for a refund. The headset is very poor quality and a poor effort by Sony Ericsson (SE) to replace their flagship HBH-300 which is an excellent product. Having used nothing but SE headsets, I am disappointed with the HBH-GV435. I bought it for the design as it suits me when wearing for long periods of time. Other than the battery life, there is not very much I can praise this headset for.

I read some excellent reviews on the HBH-GV435 prompting me to buy it. But I have seen many complaints from other owners similar to mine. The ear piece is of poor quality, every ring tone or word spoken by the person you are calling is strewn with static and crackles. The person at the other end hears my voice as muffled and cannot make out what I am saying. I have to speak loudly in order for the person to make out what I am saying. So I don't know what kind of DSP technology SE have used in this headset, but they need to look at what made their previous products so great and re-use the same formula. The unit has switched off by itself for no reason even though there was a full charge. For voice activated dialing, I have to speak loud in order for it to work. Although the HBH-GV435 uses bluetooth V2.0, its range is very limited. Walk more than an arms length away from the handset and the voice to the person at the other end starts fading. I have even paired the headset to another handset and the same problem persists. As an experiment, I would call a friend on my HBH-GV435, speak for a few minutes and then quickly call them back/or transfer over using my HBH-300 and all the problems with the former would disappear when using the latter.

I have rung SE and they have told me that I have a defective product. However having read some online reviews of other users, I am inclined to believe that SE have produced a bad product or have missed their QA on a particular production batch

Since I Have Tried So Many Headsets, I Am Keeping

Since I have tried so many headsets, I am keeping this one for now. I also own a Plantronics Discovery 640. Sound is great, but the other party says I sound terrible. Too bad. I really liked the Plantronics.

Despite All The Minor Flaws With This Sony Ericsso

Despite all the minor flaws with this Sony Ericsson HBH-GV435 bluetooth headset I would highly recommend this. I am now in the process of buying a second one as, sadly, I lost the first one on holiday! Expensive loss!

I love the way the Sony Ericsson HBH-GV435 bluetooth headset earpiece sits in my ear. I have to turn down my volume sometimes because it's so loud. I think the phone has a lot to do with this. Thanks.

The Sony Ericsson Website Claims That The Snazzily

The Sony Ericsson website claims that the snazzily named HBH-GV435 bluetooth headset can be worn all day 'with lasting comfort,' and to be honest they're right! I've been using this latest bluetooth headset with a Sony Ericsson K610i and a Nokia 6233 for a couple of weeks now, and I found it paired with both phones beautifully and provided a good stable connection. The headset is well put together in true SE style, and it is very light. It can easily be worn on either side, and it sits comfortably behind the ear with the small speaker unit hinged into the ear canal.

Sony say the unit uses 'digital sound processing' on the bluetooth 2.0 system, which is all well and good, but what does it sound like in a noisy street? Very clear is the simple answer! Callers tell me that the received sound is also of good clear quality.

Battery life is good. With the unit being used and on standby all day it would need a charge every 3-4 days.

So, back to SE's claim that the GV435 can be worn all day with 'lasting comfort'! Well I'm certainly not going to dispute that, as my wife recently had to remind me to take it off at the dinner table! It had been on all day and I'd forgotten it was there.
