We booked with Longwoods to go to Tel Aviv for a few days staying in a four star hotel. The service from Longwoods was consistently poor with a generally unhelpful manner. I regret booking my holiday with Longwoods. They do not answer their phones and did not return my phone messages which I was forced to leave. I also left an email which was not answered. They charge an expensive phone number to call through to them. Despite the expensive holiday, they sent the tickets by email so I had to get them printed. I would say, do NOT use Longwoods if you have an alternative.

DREADFUL - our expensive holiday to Jordan certainly did not live up the the description and was totally spoilt. Longwood sold us a luxury 5* tour and then downgraded our hotel, provided dangerous, old and grimy buses for our tour, smelly ancient taxis. The emails we sent while on holiday, dont seem to count as a 'complaint' to be dealt with, they seem to expect you suffer it and write in once you are back in the UK. I accept that the majority of the problems we experienced may be due to their local reps TRUST TOURS OR TTA, but Longwood did not appear to us to have no control over them or what is provided on the ground, and even more sadly, they don't really seem to care. Our travel agent and ourselves emailed their senior manager, Alan Meadows a number of times but apart from one email saying 'looking into it', he did not respond to emails. When the ash cloud hit, we received little compensation for delays compared with Jules Verne customers who, I understand, had their additional days stay paid for - full board. Having finally flown us back into a different IK airport in the middle of the night, we were all left to our own resources - not even taxis arranged. From my calculations, Longwood/ TTA made a a good profit on our great many misfortunes.
