“Far too slow”

Good library and good website. But turnaround is far too slow. Makes a nonsense of getting the many-as-you-want rate as you wont get more than the budget level. Too bad.

“Honest Objective Review”

...You know what they say "Never rust a review that is weighted towards either extreme of the scale" it's possibly written by an employee or competitor. I am a Genuine Online User, have been with Lovefilm/Amazon since 2008. I Also decided to join Cinemaparadiso, due to the 2-Month Embargo placed on certain titles on Lovefilm, in the vain hope I would receive All titles without any Studio-Contractual-Delays. Well I am pleased to report Lovefilm/Amazon are Consistently supplying 100% of Available New Titles, on "My Rental List", from day of release without any delay. This week, as of 09 April 2014, I received "Runner Runner" "Badge of Fury" and "Bullet" on Tues 08 April 2014. "The Hobbit Desolation of Smaug", released 07 April 2014, is not Available via Lovefilm/Amazon for 2 Months. Hoping I would receive this from Cinemaparadiso since it was at "Top of My List" it has failed to be Allocated as of 09 April, what possible reason could there be? Cinemaparadiso also "Appear" to credit Any returned discs after TWO working days? Lovefilm have consistently updated the Next Working Day! Amazon's rental page does require improvement, they don't provide 100% of titles due to Studio Restrictions, however their service is 100% Reliable for the Titles that are available I'm not making any recommendations, but, Which review do You believe now?

I've just switched from lovefilm by post to cinemaparadiso & i'm much happier with them.I've managed to track down some real obscure jems from the 30's & 40's that i just couldn't get via amazon.Since amazon took over lovefilm i'm not so keen.I prefered the old lovefilm setup.Yes C.P take longer but allow titles to move up & down a viewing list.Don't know if they show preference to premium subscribers but i'm on the x4 disc unlimited package & have had films quicker than lovefilm by post.Read a lot of bad reviews about them during 2013 & earlier & i only joined recently in may but love them so far.Maybe because i'm not after the latest blockbusters i've been lucky with my selections.

“do not use!!!!”

I should of looked up these reviews before I decided to do a 14 free trial - they have taken money out of my account today when I cancelled in time and they take almost a week to show dics as returned - dishonest and poor service - keep away!!!!!

I have read all these reviews and do not understand how is it possible that it happens to some people and not to me. I got this company to give me free trial 3 times in the last 3 years (sorry cannot share how to) and never had these problems. May be I am lucky? I really would like to know when you cancelled, when you returned the discs and if you got proof of posting? I like their website and service and if ever I get constant income I will definitely subscribe but would love to find out why this happens to some people

Had exact same issues as other reviewers.
Film review system is seriously flawed.
When voting positive or negative for a review vote is not counted and when you write reviews you never get any votes. Assume cause nobody can vote for you either.
Pointless rewards & prizes for best reviews each month as you cannot vote and the same names win every month. No point having rewards for reviews when you have no chance of winning anything.
Customer help is hit and miss. Sometimes they respond sometimes they ignore.
Many films listed for renting thou no availability on some. Fast dispatch though you it is rare to get top DVD titles.
Website DVD search is close to useless. You have to spell the exact film you are looking for to get a result & when you search for an actor or director you only get short one page result when you know there are more results available.
Customer help: 1/5
Website usability: 2/5
Number of DVDs on site: 4/5
Number of DVDs available: 2/5
Cost: 3/5
Would not recommend.
