Beware of this company enrolling people in auto renewal five year contracts! Looks like we are unfortunately stuck with them for another five years.

We have been with Managed Comms for several years and decided that now it had become available we would upgrade one of our depots to FTTC. This would not only give us an increased performance but also lower the cost of our internet service. The install was complicated by the wrong router being provided which being a cloud based business was rather dissapointing to say the least. What however was MOST important was the reaction of Managed Comms to rectify the situation - within 4 hours a new box had been configured, dispatched by courier the 120 miles and installed - no dramas. In sum it would have been great if we had have had the correct box in the first place but their reaction to their mistake more than made up for it.

10Mb uncontended fibre line with fixed IP - Once installed, only 1 evening of interruption in c.3 years, during which time it automatically failed over to ADSL and we were provided with a timely root cause analysis. The interruption was caused by a third party. Since going live, Managed Comms have always provided us with good customer care - I nearly always speak directly with the same person who has all our history. Good pricing / good value.

For years we had used BT and thought the service we were receiving was industry standard. Unanswered emails, phones inging out and no call backs when we tried to get hold of our Account Manager, unless of course we wanted to buy something. Tried Managed Communications and its been a breath of fresh air. They managed the Openreach aspect of the deployment so saved us having to deal with BT and they have been attentive ever since. We always get the speeds and we always get called back when we have a question. A real refreshing change to an industry I was quickly losing faith in!

Daisy and Managed Communications provided a great broadband service for Climate Week that supported the internet use and phone lines of a team of 11 people with ease, and they were very helpful in the management of our account.

best price EFM that I found, went in within the lead time they quoted and its's worked ever since. On rare occasion I've called technical support, found they are in the UK and they answered my calls rapidly.

Without doubt the worst company i have ever dealt with. Caused me so many headaches its untrue. Product is massively overpriced and hardly works. Never their fault when it doesn't work. Their technical team are a joke. their sales people are even worse. Please avoid at all cost

Do not touch with a barge pole. Salesman in shiny suits all they care about is taking your money, try to baffle you with tech talk and then you end up paying about 4 times too much for a service that is much cheaper elsewhere. Also, watch out for their terms and conditions as they have auto renewal but do not bring this to your attention, if you dont cancel in the relevant period they try to scam you out of another 12 months. Basically, these people should be left well alone, steer clear of them. Unprofessional, cowboys, sharks, very limited technical information.

They were useless, promised a high speed ADSL for £75 per month and the service was no better than my £5 per month service from Sky. After wasting two months of my life on and off of their support lines eventually i cancelled the contract as they couldnt seem to get the signal any better. The line was constantly dropping off and needing the router rebooting two or three times a day.. Since changing BT are giving the same service but for about £10 per month. Complete rubbish!!!!

We ordered a Broadband connection from Managed Communications and paid a £1,000 deposit. They later established that they could not supply a connection to our area due to a lack of fibre-optic infrastructure. We requested a refund of our £1,000 and it took a disappointingly long time to get the money refunded.

When it works, the bonded ADSL is fine, but it consistently fails to deliver the promised upload speeds. The Customer Service team blame everything on BT and do not respond as they should for a business grade product.
AVOID.

As the network manager for my organisation i was given the task of saving money on our Leased line connections between sites. i found managed comms through google and they have really impressed so far.
-Sales were knowledgeable, friendly and consultative.
-Deployment was smooth and hassle free, the deployment manager kept me posted with all updates during implentation.
-Technical support are also very proactive, having alot of sites can be a nightmare when you are a team of 1 and so their monitoring tools really come in handy!
I replaced the initial 5 sites with a combination of SDSL and bonded ADSL and am now looking to further this project with m comms and roll out the connectivty to the rest of our sites.

My experience of Managed Comms has been very poor. Long outages (often at weekends) followed by poor explanations which suggest they have no proper redundancy built in to their systems. Speed (when the bonded lines are up) is OK but fsr too many losses of service to justify the price. There is no 24/7 support included, although they will sell you this for a large additional payment. In summary; a reasonable product, completely ruined for business use by poor technical support, unacceptable service loss and a poor asttitude to customer care.

I too have a Managed Communications Bundled DSL circuit however I was notified of the contract term and was offered pricing for 12, 36 and 60 month contracts. I opted for the 36 month as there was an incentive on the set-up.
My advice would be to read the terms and conditions and if you are being quoted for a longer term contract try asking for a shorter term contract.
Anybody who signs up for a business to business internet contract without reading terms and conditions should quite simply not be in business.
My experience with Managed Communications has been great and I have just renewed my contract for another 36 months.

I too am locked into a 5yr contract or so they think but there is such a thing as an unfair contract term and i have employed the services of a Lawyer to look into it. NEVER was this 5 yr term ever mentioned in the many communications i had with sales prior to accepting the service it is not on the order form was never mentioned in the email that outlined the service and the terms are only online

We signed up for a Managed Communications Bonded SDSL connection in June 2007. Our experience to date has been second to none. What I liked was having a dedicated account manager and support technician, something which my previous ISP did not offer.
The expertise from support is excellent and they often assist when we are having issues with our internal network - something they don't even manage.
I did look at the competition and although they were not the cheapest they have far exceeded my expectations and have delivered stability which I thought was not possible over DSL.
I would strongly recommend Managed Communications to anyone who is thinking of replacing their current internet connection.

Knowlegable support and really good throughput speeds.
Very helpful when setting up new DR system.
Fairly good at keeping me informed.
Good bunch to do business with. They are keen to make things work for the customer and they know what they are talking about.

Managed Communications are the worst ISP in the UK in my opinion. I had a 5 YEAR contract and it is almost impossible to migrate to another ISP in the future. The connection is also extremely slow and unreliable when i need it.

We use Managed Communications to connect our offices around the UK, run VOIP traffic and video conferencing.

Really fast connection - Managed Communications are not the cheapest in terms of price but any teething problems were soon ironed out and found the customer service was exceptional. No problems since.
