Fight Club is an amazing film that identifies society's main problems today. Based on the best-selling novel by Chuck Palahniuk, this film directed by David Fincher really reflects the consumer world we live in. I have seen this film many times on DVD and I love it. Every time I watch Fight Club I am brought back to reality and the sort of world we are growing up in. We are "generation X" and we "have no purpose or place". It is not a violent movie as the title suggests; it actually has very little fighting in it. The film is more about the themes which are hidden behind it.

"Fight Club is not a movie that can be easily dismissed of forgotten. Fight Club is the most incendiary movie to come out of Hollywood in a very long time." -David Ansen
"This film is great. When you consider how much of the convoluted plot is intact, and how many ideas and surprises are presented in such a short time, it's staggering." - Chuck Palahniuk
Your second viewing is better than the first. A must have DVD!

I saw Fight Club again recently and it still remains as fresh as when i saw it on release in 1999.
Firstly it works on so many levels each friend thats seen it has their own perspective on the film. Whether its about, Consumersism, Rebellion or Violence.
The two male leads are fantastic, best role i have ever seen
Pitt in he really excells, but its Nortons performance that really steals the show and cements his reputation as the best actor of his generation.
Absolutely recommend this and it also has one of the best twists/endings you'll ever see.
