If you buy something and send it back, they delay crediting your account so that you get charged an EXTORTIONATE amount. Then they ignore you. Terrible customer service.

Have an account with them for over 2 years. Never missed a payment. Made a small order well below my credit limit with them, they send me an email confirming my order, then cancelled - WITHOUT BOTHERING TO LET ME KNOW - I had paid for next day delivery and took time off work to be home for the delivery. Which, of course, never came. This company did not have the decency to let me know they had cancelled my order, or explain why. Not a good way to treat a customer! Wish I'd seen these reviews beforehand, as would never have opened an account with them in the first place. I check everything now. Cheek of these companies who get us all off with their interest, then don't have the professionalism or plain manners to make contact with their customers if there's a problem.

Will not be using these idiots again. I placed an order due to arrive in 3 days and by day 8, it hadn't arrived so I emailed them. They ignored my email for a few days and then said the order had been returned to them - with no apology. They asked me to place the order again, saying they'd refund the postage if I ordered next day delivery. After 3 days, the order hadn't arrived and they said it had been returned to them again - no apology. Apparently the courier wasn't able to deliver to me, so they asked for another address - why??? I live within yards of a main road with ample parking. During the whole of this process, I had to email them again and again as they weren't replying. I only got an apology when I actually asked for one and wonder whether they would have even let me know what was going on if I hadn't kept chasing them. Never again!

Ordered two pairs of shoes and went over few days of the 28 Day Policy due to breavment . Tried to explain this to the customer agent but got no sympathy and was told I will be still charged for late returns for both my items! I also returned an item from another catalogue company at the same time also few days over the return policy and the customer agent was lovely and accepted my returns without any hassle !

I returned a dress 3 weeks ago and still no acknowledgment or refund. With other online retailers, you get an email confirmation and then a refund back with 3-5 days. Quick and simple, but this is not the case with Fashion World. I will not be using this retailer again!

Ordered items next day and Fashionworld had cocked up the delivery address so items were returned to sender. I contacted them to say no problem, just send to correct address. The guy first on the phone decided he didn't want to help and transferred me without notification so I had to start the whole conversation again. The second person then said they couldn't do that as the items had to come back in before they could refund. I said well just resend and charge again and the refund can come in later. Sorry we cant do that as items no longer in stock. what the hell? I would never order from these again as the customer service is shocking

Avoid at all costs, had a credit limit of £125 placed an order and my order has got cancelled when I tracked it and my credit removed without even informing me! So many bad reviews for this site! Would give 0 stars if I could!

I ordered a 3 year warranty in April it's now December and I still haven't received it , I asked to arrange for someone to repair my TV 2 months ago and still no-ones done it , I asked for help with my payments and they wouldn't give any their useless.

Without doubt the worst catalogue company I have ever used. If you want to be hounded with calls from them and your personal details kept on file after you have requested numerous times for your account to be closed.... their staff are also very rude and snappy on the phone.

Avoid this firm at all costs. If you miss any payments they will harrass you by phone constantly, add to that the fact that they talk down to you when you cannot match payments and make you feel like you are nothing. When you have paid off your accounts in full they also hold onto your details which is a breach of the data protection act (if you google the firm they have had numerous incidents of data being obtained through system failures) so don't say you were not warned. JD Williams is an umbrella firm with Fashion World, Viva La Diva and Simply Be under it's name

They let you open and account give you a credit limit then when you go to check the status of your order the items have been cancelled how bad is that . Avoid at all costs

I bought an item from Fashion world which I wanted to return a week later. Firstly, there was no paper work such as an invoice or returns label with my item. I rang to get a returns label which I told they would me. This has never arrived. I rang customer services again I was told that I didn't need an address on the parcel to send it back as the courier (Hermes) would know where it's going. This didn't seem right as I know that Hermes do not work for just one company so the same day I rang them again to double check and was told the same thing by someone else. So I took this as being correct and left my parcel in my garden for a week before ringing them again as to why its not been picked up yet. Then I'm told that the previous info was wrong and I do actually need an address on the parcel! So I wrote the address, as advised on the parcel and the finally it was collected. Three weeks later I STILL have no refund as now the parcel is 'lost' and they have no idea where it is. So now I was told that they were going to send me a form to sign stating that I gave sent it item back to get a refund, which once again never turned up. I have called customer services yet again and have spoken to a manager who had an attitude, who insisted that I must sign a form to get a refund despite all of their messing me around! Shockingly bad customer service!!!! Rude and badly trained staff. I work in customer service for different company I would NEVER treat customers like this. I can see by all the other reviews, that sadly I am only one of many customers that have been let down by the customer service of this company.

My 81 year old mother has received two parcels over the past 6 months, addressed to her but non of the items had been ordered. No order had ever been placed with this company. They did collect the first parcel and second parcel was given back to the postman. She has now received an invoice saying she owes £3.61. Along with a leaflet for Information Sheet on Arrears. A small amount I know but very distressing for an old lady who has never been in debt. Waiting to hear back from Fashion World, for break down of where £3.61 comes from and to confirm that my Mothers details have been removed from their records. Very Angry at the distress they havc caused. Trading Standards next stop.

Got accepted for personal account ordered 2 things the cancelled my order and revoked my limit for no reason what's the point in this ? Why accept me then don't send my goods ! Not great !

I had a credit limit given to spend, I ordered a few things for delivery next day. On the day of my delivery I received an email saying I needed to pay by credit/debit card as I no longer had a credit limit with them. I emailed them as I was shocked, still not heard back after 3 weeks. I think it's disgusting how they do this as it seems it happens a lot, poor customer service wouldn't recommend to anyone!!! I don't understand how they're even still up and running with how they pester people with sales calls even after what they've put them through with the whole revoking their credit limit and not informing anyone. Disgusting!

Have been inundated with sales calls from various companies who have got my number from Fashion World. All very pushy and despite me saying I am at work, will not get off the phone! Despite getting in touch with Fashion World twice, they calls still keep coming. I've now had to register with TPS to try and stop them. If you do use Fashion World, be careful what box you tick.

Today, I have been on the telephone with Fashion World for hours, explained that the Microwave that I brought off them last year 11 months and 2 weeks has become defunct. I explained that the front (fascia) of the microwave has fell away and is unusable. I quoted a reference that Daewoo (the manufacturer) have provided me with, to give to Fashion World to organise the immediate return of the microwave for inspection as it could be a health risk. After explaining all of this to Fashion World, they stated it was out of warranty and would not exchange, refund or even discuss the matter. They did not seem to care that the microwave over the last year could of been a health risk and stated that it was the 20th July 2013 when I ordered it and that's when the warranty started. Any warranty or guarantee starts from when you receive the product (for me the beginning of August, therefore my Microwave was still in warranty). Again, Fashion World did not seem to care. This is not the first time Fashion World have delivered a faulty product. Do not use them. Do not trust them.

Fashion world keep cancelling my orders & I have plenty of available credit ! I go in to check the status of my order to see that it has been cancelled. I email them to ask why this keeps happening but I do not get an answer, I get told to ring THEM to find out why.

I've just joined them and was given 175 initial credit , I ordered 3 items and I've just gone in to check the status and they all say cancelled next to them, so I emailed them, really confused! Are they cancelled or will they still arrive? What's your experience? Have you had to re-order and then its goe thru ok? Can you let me know my email is [email protected]
