No nonsense high value store where we can pick up most essentials. Voucher system gives up to 10% off already low prices. Staff in Wolverton store competent and friendly, but high churn maybe because very young. Sometimes milk fridge left empty even though they have more in the back although they'll happily refill on request. I read with interest other reviews about meat products and cannot say I've had a bad experience. However I only buy frozen foods that I believe are ok to freeze, mostly fish/prawns, chicken breast and whole chicken and duck. The LA diner range varies considerably. The chicken dippers are immense value, low salt, 100% chicken breast and nice hot or cold. But LA Diner not always great. Milk 3 jugs for £2 less any voucher discount is incredible! We have stopped giving main supermarkets the business, just buying what we cannot get in FF. They demonstrate what a rip-off the larger stores are as I'm sure FF do not have the buying power of the big 3 supermarkets, and I don't notice significant quality difference between them and big 3 own brands on most items. I suppose if I was to criticise the chain, it would be that the stores look a little run down but always clean. Staff is minimal which is how it should be. Very young but also friendly and professional. Nobody apparently over 25 though which is a bit odd. The manager at local store looks like she should be still at school but she's every bit as competent as any floor supervisor in retail establishment. Prices do tend to hop around a lot as well, while on some items the offers are permanent. Usually always cheaper than other stores, so it's my go-to place for family food. They're starting to branch into more and more fresh food and prices equally competitive here. Would be a very sad day if they ever disappear or get bought out by a bigger establishment. Much prefer to likes of Iceland who I suppose are their direct competitor. Great job Farm Foods!

Could not believe the staff at this wrekenton branch 2 female staff absolutely ripping shreads off the manager while supposed to be working. I felt like going and telling him decided not to as I may cause a atmosphere. I visit this shop twice a week and the staff are normally ok I have also spoken to him and he was most helpful with my query. I felt sorry for the guy not being able to defend himself I have complained to there head office KEEP THAT TALK FOR YOUR BREAKS IF IT NEEDS TO BE SAID AT ALL

Very pleased to have finally tried Farmfoods. Great range, low prices and quality products. Recently joined slimming club and my new friends have recommended a number of new shops that I cannot wait to try.

After going into the store (based in Chorley) for some beef burgers, I was surprised to find out that the burgers contained more meat percentage, as well as a lower price tag than other supermarket brands that I shop at. Many other items in store are fantastic, especially the LA Diner range. However, I find the shop to be very small and the aisles are narrow. Also, the staff members are not lively (though they are courteous) and I would love to see the staff members with a huge smile on their faces.

I cannae say that the food at farmfoods is the best in the world. Most of it is cheap and it shows, but for what ya pay it isnae bad! I use it for getting frozen stuff, which is great. But to get it supercheap ya have to buy a lot - which means ya end up eatin the same thing day after day. Still without farmfood I doubt I could eat half as well as I do. I certainly couldnae get the same from tesco or morrsions - so until they sort their proce out, it'll be farmfoods for me

I love spare ribs but avoid the L.A diner ribs from Farmfoods, When you bite into what you think is meat your jaw stops closing almost straight away because your teeth hit bone. Very small amount of meat so you pay £3.50 for a bag of bones but my dog likes that, then i'm off to the fridge for something to eat. the staff in my local Acocks Green branch never offer too help you load the bags. One staff member,Louise is so grumpy and looks at people like they are dirt and she's Ajax,I think Danni left, Its a shame, she was a lovely girl.Apart from that i have no complaints.

My first visit to FARMFOODS Chelmsford.(I Live in Brentwood) Clean tidy shop, helpful staff and quick till. I found the named foods there much cheaper. I have tried some of their own makes and am very pleased to find them good quality and tasty.
Will certainly go again, this was a trial visit, and will tell friends and family about Farmfoods.

I saved £28 in a £100 shop at Farmfoods and diddnt go for "own brand" products. I used to buy most of my shopping from ASDA but i can get the same loaf of bread from farmfoods for 25p less and 2lt of milk for a massive 54p less after noticing this i done a shop in both and compaired prices. i am shocked at how much i saved, "ASDA Price" my bum. I would love the big supermarkets to do a popular product basket comparison with Farmfoods. You would never hear the result. Top brands at very inexpensive prices. Great staff (in Glasgow). Till area a little small and not big shopping friendly.
A shop which truely helps people out with the cost of everyday products.
Buy your meat, Veg and eggs from farmers markets, your fruit from Morrisons and the rest from Farmfoods
