Stunningly bad food handling in the langley mill store now, sausages left thawing on trollies, and then being refrozen,,uncooked meat being stored in same fridge as cooked chickedn pasties etc. Youll find lots of food packaging contains as much ice inside as food, this has been allowed to thaw and then refrozen. The auntie wotsit chips are often mouldy and discoloured. Told the local council, they couldnt care less if you die of food poisoning.

I purchased Farm foods frozen chicken thighs and each one has barely any meat on it and a very large spine type bone all down one side.I went back a few weeks later and they are exactly the same so obviously not a one off mistake.Disgusting meat, ruined my barbecue and I will never ever shop there again

Would not recommend working here especially in Bo'ness store I worked there hours are a disgrace management take it upon there selfs to change you're shifts constantly so if u make plans forget them as rotta will be different all the time certain staff treated differently from others not getting holidays or them being changed !! Shift patterns hardly mixed up certain one constantly getting long late shifts while others get away with it I'm glad I no longer work for this company really wish the union was there when I was cause the staff need support !!

Three times I have bought frozen fish from Farmfoods. Dont buy!! You cannot bake grill steam or microwave there fish. God knows what they do to the fish in the preparation stages but it is rubbish along with a lot of there meats. There is nothing I liked about my visit to Farmfoods. In its favour was a very large store with hardly any customers so plenty time to browse the freezers and no waiting time at the cash out.

i recently bought farmfoods pulled pork, it was absolutely terrible, there was literally no meat, just a blob of fatty jelly, I'm disgusted with this product, it's actually put meat off buying any other meat from this store

I bought 3 of these tenderloins and tried to fry as medallions - strange white goo came out, they took ages to cook, tasted odd and the texture was like sponge! Looking VERY closely at the package, in the small print in the ingredients it states '15% water and dextrose'. At the discount price I have just paid 50p for 75mls of water and sugar instead of the pork I wanted. This is awful! Researching this process, it is purely to add weight and increase profit. This is back to 1960s trading at its worst. We shouldn't have this adulterated muck dumped on us with the actual contents hidden in small print. Farmfoods, treat your customers like this and watch your shares price tumble. Investors - run away!

I was shopping in the Tamworth Farmfoods store and a lad kept looking at me weird so I had another look at him and I caught him staring at my breasts so I asked to speak to the manager and he told me to leave the shop very disappointing.

I visited Farmfoods in Wednesbury a few weeks back. There is no better way to mention that the store is a complete and utter disgrace. The staff were miserable unhelpful and unsociable. There were ants on the shop floor around a display of sugar. Towards the entrance of the store, litter was all over the floor which made the store unapproachable. The only positive thing about this store was that the store had a car park in which my car was parked for a fast escape. There was a pretty big queue and there was only one member of staff on the checkout. There are rumours that the staff are overworked with little or no breaks which may explain their misery. A friend of mine purchased shopping over £25 where farmfoods do those £2.50 vouchers. She got to the checkout where a member of staff refused to accept it. The member of staff did not apologise or explain why. My friend now shops at Iceland.

I live in Fort William the Highlands of Scotland and sadly Farmfoods is my only freezer store. I have bought food from there 3 times now, and I have to say the quality is really bad, it seems to me that the so called low prices reflect the quality of food. I can honestly say, I will NOT be shopping there again even though the staff are friendly and helpful the food is very low quality.
Sorry Farmfoods, maybe you should take a leaf out of Icelands book, and sell top quality food at good prices!
In future I will travel the extra 70 miles to shop at a quality store like Iceland..... If any MD's from Iceland are reading this review, I wish you would open up in Fort William.
Why does the Highlands have to suffer? we have a morrissons and farmfoods and that is it, but I guess living in such a beautiful place makes up for the rubbish Farmfoods sell!!

The fish fingers from Farmfoods were good value for money, and they tasted great!
The shop floor was quite untidy with boxes of goods all over the freezers, and sticky tape got attached to my shoe!
