As a professional travel writer, I stayed at the Turk Hotel from 28/04 - 14/05/2012. Friendly, family run hotel, well appointed and excellent service.Very good value for money. Hotel restaurant comparable with any other restaurant in Oludeniz for quality and price. Demographics: 90% English/10& Turkish guests. Repeat bookings run at 80% - an accolade in itself. I have read one review which complained having booked bed and breakfast, breakfast charges still appeared on the bill. This is a common error made by guests. The TURKISH (Continental)breakfast is included but NOT the full English breakfast (costing around £4 pp). My restaurant critiques by ranking are 1. Blue Star. 2 Sea Horse (on the promenade. 3. Buzz Restaurant and 4. Oba. Must see's: Tlos; Ephesus, Pamalukke and Hieropolis (2 day trip) and the Saklikent Gorge in the Taurus Mountains. Best beach: Blue Lagoon National Park. Do try at least one cruise by gulet. Dolmus (local buses) are the cheapest mode of transport around the area. Any problems at the hotel, speak to Lily and it will be professionally resolved - and do ask to sample grandmother's homemade Bakliva... I have no reservations in recommending this hotel to travellers to the Lycian Coast.
