I 've been with Policy administration services limited since 2012 when I bought my mobile with phones4u, I've been paying £11.99 monthly since that(so far I have paid them £430), unfortunately I lost my iPhone 4s few days ago, when I made my claim, this insurance have charge me an excess of £50 for a phone that it cost now around £200 on top of that the replacement they are going to send me is a refurbished phone.... Not even new!!!!!!... So avoid this phone insurance, I thought paying an expensive insurance would grant me good benefits like not excess or at least a new phone when I need it, but from now I would go for an insurance that cost half of the price or even less!!!!! I am so disappointed with this insurance company!!!!.... I have said it.

I recently cracked the screen of my phone and it would no longer work. Within four days of sending the broken phone, I had not only received a replacement...but an upgrade as my phone wasn't in stock. Every time I spoke to them on the phone they were helpful and polite. Every time I rang I wasn't stuck in a queue for hours. The service was swift and stress-free.

I have had two claims over the past two years, both successfully accepted with no problem. The staff are all very friendly and even after ringing millions of times just to find out about my ohone, they provided me with everything I wanted and more. Overall I wpuld reccomend policy admin, hreat service and great prices!

Terrible policy, steer clear! I had my pay as you go HTC desire insured with Policy Admin PremierPlan (part of phones4u). My phone broke, I sent it in to Policy Admin for repair, they sent it back in the same state, which is astonishing, as the phone couldn't even be turned on. Not sure what they did in the repair centre, short of resending it. Anyway, after begin interrogated on the phone and sending my phone back for them to check it, they agreed to replace it. But the models they offered were really rubbish compared with the insured phone, or they just offered me £89, barely more than my excess of £50 which I'd paid for the repair in the first place. I felt very misled because I'd believed they would attempt to replace the phone with the same model, which they made no effort to do, despite it saying this in the contract. This policy was worth so much less than I paid for it, I have cancelled it, and of course, they didn't care in the slightest. They are also quite slow at getting back to you :)

Had a policy through phones for you, has the policy for 3 years never made a claim, when I made a claim I was told the best option was to go through Apple this would cost no more than £175 on contacting Apple the charges including deliver was £245 re- contacted these people and was told to return it to the repair centre near a month after making the claim the phone was returned to me in a a condition that disgraceful the frame was all bent and damaged they would do nothing about it.. Not a bit of wonder they were fined 2.4 million for poor customer service. Opps or sorry phones 4u were ?? But I thought these people were the policy administrators for phones 4u and deal with the customer complaints maybe I am wrong and policy admin had nothing to do with 2.4 million fine ...... Feel I was miss sold my policy and is a lot dearer than most others hard lesson learned policy not worth the paper it was wrote on, so be warned small print is that small you need big glasses to see it...

I was the same I had to pay £100 excess and could have had the screen replaced on my iphone for £48 in town and don't think it was a genuine apple screen as it is a different colour to my Husbands phone didn't make a fuss but now feel I should have cancelled my policy and went with Nat West Bank £5 per month 50 excess I would never use phones 4u or these people again.

I am with policy admin for 1 year . Last year when my phone was lost they sent me new packed phone in 3 working days..... This company is trust able...

I was recommended to use these from Phones for you at least 3 years ago , I have never had to make a claim. Today i was looking around on the internet and i can find insurance for my phone clearly alot cheaper. I called policy admin to cancel my policy and they didnt batter an eyelid they didn't even ask me why?! I have been a loyal customer for all this time and they cancelled my policy straight away and didn't even offer me discount to stay? I'm pretty dissapointed because i have been spending £9.99 for the past years its a complete waste of money! Thanks Policy admin you've been great.... NOOOTTTTTT!

I have just phoned to claim on my 'so called' insurance only to be slapped with a £100 excess fee which was never mentioned! I have been paying £9.99 per month for cover on my iPhone 4s which to date totals around £150... so what have I been paying for when apple would be happy to fix my broken phone for less than £80! Customer services were useless and when I asked what I'd been for all this time... no answer, even they couldn't tell me! This compay is a JOKE. DON'T USE THEM!!!!!

I bought this product when buying my Iphone 4. I now have an Iphone 5, the price hasnt gone up since swapping over. I have claimed twice on the insurance and i have never had a problem with claiming for a new one. The only down side is that I live far from an Apple shop and to get the new phone sent to my home through apple cost £30 extra for delivery which is not included in the clam.

changed my policy to accomodate my new iphone 5. after just 2 days i dropped it in water, the entire repair process took about 8 days bt the email updates were great and i got a new iphone5, sealed in the box and everything!! expected a fixed touch screen or refurbished handset, sooo happy!!!! well worth the 50 excess and even better i was working all week and missed the post they left it with a neighbour, so handy.

By far the worst insurance company I have ever had the displeasure of being a customer! Its been three months now since I have put a claim in and still no progress in receiving my new phone. Please what ever you do don't sign up with this company! Absolute nightmare!

I lost my I-phone and they sent me a new one, 3 months later! Then 6 days later the battery died and then the screen would not come back on, so I took it to the apple store to see if they could fix it. When they took my phone apart they showed me that my phone was not actually an I-phone, it had FAKE parts in there used to fix it. It was shocking and embarrassing! When I called them in disgust they told me that they are allowed to use manufactured goods to fix phones, meaning that they are happy to send out FAKE I-PHONES! I was then assured that they rarely do this and they would be happy to send me a new phone. Once they sent me a new phone everything was ok until a week ago when the scren started to flicker to the point where you cannot see what is on the screen. I took it to apple again and suprise suprise, it was another FAKE I-PHONE!!! When I called them they were rude and told me that after reviewig my account they have decide not to insure me anymore and that they had not charge me any bills for 2 months, she asked me why I did not notice I was being charged? Sorry but who checks to see if there £15 insurance bill is taken every month! After complaining to them, several phone calls and hours on the phone, they have decide to send me a 'brand new I-phone' I sent my faulty phone back to them special delivery last week and have not heard from them since!!!! Now I am still chasing them to send me a new phone which I will be taking straight to apple to check if it is real! Not only are they a massive conn, there customer service is awful!!!!

I was sold this policy in 2010 as excellent mobile insurance, it was sold as giving me an instant replacement if any problems by phones 4u (I didn't read the small print) Now I have a problem and thought my mobile would be replaced. No chance they will repair it, at a cost of £50 (the excess). Service is poor they wanted me to fill in a claim form which would be posted, then I would return then they would repair then I would get it back, 10 day turnaround. After phoning and complaining they short circuited the claims procedure and would do it in three days. I paid this insurance since 2010 with two of these years in warranty. What an absolute waste of my money, don't ever dream of using this company. A very dissgruntled customer John Wrightson

I dropped my Galaxy S3 and shattered the glass. Sent away my phone and claim form on the Friday, they received it Monday and I had my phone back in my hands as good as new on the Wednesday! They even repaired the chip at the bottom! Besides the £50 excess fee I can't fault them!

totally frustrated my phone broke i pay 9.99 a month thinking i was covered to find out i have to pay a 50 pound excess am totally peed off ouldof save that 0 pound a month for 2 years and got a brand new fone

OMG!! :( not to happy reading these reviews as i've just put in for a claim for my samsung galaxy s3, i'm really quite scared now. will keep you all posted to what happens in the next few weeks. i thought my mind would be at rest having it covered but obviously this is not going to be the case.

I've used Policy Admin 3 times in the last 4 years when my I've damaged my phone to the point where it won't work anymore. All three times the insurance has replaced/repaired my phone without any issues and I've received competent customer service on the odd occasion I've had to phone up to check something. The only drawback is having to send the claim form to one office and my phone to a separate repair centre is a convoluted way of processing a claim and costs more in postage, I would've thought claims could be processed online by now rather than the "old-fashioned" way. The whole process takes about 3 weeks if you opt to have the claim form posted to you by snail mail. Overall the process is slow but works well enough when needed.

I've seen lots of reviews on this website saying this company is not good, however I've had 2 amazing experiences with policyadmin (premierplan), the first was back in May 2012 where I was a victim if theft, the theft happened on a Tuesday night got my crime reference number on Thursday (police took a while), sent off documents on Friday they must have revived it on either Saturday or Monday as I got a replacement phone Tuesday. Phone was working excellent. Recently I've damaged my phone and I logged a claim on Thursday, sent off phone and documents on Friday they received everything the Monday that just went and I've checked online this morning and it says its been repaired and is out for delivery, so it will either be with today or tomorrow.. Great, excellent and fast service, customer service was also very helpful.

I was gutted when I smashed the screen on my white bb9900 and having read all of the bad reviews I didnt think my claim was going to have a good outcome....however im over the moon to have my phone back as good as new after 8 days from sending it off and only paying £10excess fee.I used the online progress checker to see how things were progressing and also phoned up and staff were always very helpful.

I have now cancel my policy....... They didn't show any interest in keep my business knowing I have been with them for 3 years and never have made a claim before.......this is what I call "terrible customer service"... What a shame!
