We Had Upgraded To A 2-room Suite Which Was Hands-
We had upgraded to a 2-room suite which was hands-down the way to go. There was a separate sitting area, queen size bed and nicely furnished. The star rating system is very objective when you leave the USA. I wouldn't by any means give ANY of the cruise ships on the Nile 5-Stars (we have seen and been on plenty!) The King of Thebes was clean, the staff wonderful and it was just what we wanted: a relaxing time in Egypt.

The Boat Staff And Our Tour Guide, Were All Excell
The boat staff and our tour guide, were all excellent. The lobby was nicely decorated and our cabins were spacious and clean. The food was good although the selection could have been more extensive. The entertainment was trashy, not classy as one would expect from a 5 Star. The upper deck was in decent condition but somewhat worn and run down. The main complaint is that the boats are old and spew out volumes of diesel which engulf the upper deck making it impossible to enjoy sitting up there. For the money we paid for this cruise for four days, we could have had far more deluxe accommodations on a cruise ship anywhere else in the world for at least a week. This cruise was definitely not worth the money paid for it.
This comment is to be added to Clarence and Femmie's as the entire review was not included. The diesel fumes not only engulfed the upper deck but also filled our cabin, making it impossible to sleep. We became nauseous, and had great difficulty breathing, not to mention being exposed night after night, all night long, to these poisonous fumes. Headaches became our constant companion due to the diesel fumes. We feel the exposure to the diesel is totally unacceptable in the year 2008 with society's knowledge of what these fumes can do to a person's health. We were extremely disappointed in this cruise.

We Loved Our Nile Cruise On The Queen Nabila Fleet
We loved our Nile cruise on the Queen Nabila Fleet King Of Thebes. Our room were spacious, with a view of the Nile. It had sliding glass windows, and we could watch the river go by. The only problem was that we were given a room with separate beds, but we did not complain. The room and bathroom were comfortable and spotlessly clean, like the rest of the ship. However, there was no entertainment aboard the ship, and perhaps it was not included in our package. There was just one lunch on deck, the others were all in the enclosed dining room. We wanted a table facing the river and got it.
Overall, it was a wonderful experience. The service was polite and friendly.
