That vintage woody Ludwig sound is difficult to reproduce on modern kits, and nothing is really comparable. It is a shame that an equivalent does not exist.
Despite the obvious set backs in owning an old Luddy regarding the tom tom mount, I shall be hanging onto mine forever!
