Do Not Buy From This Site

I bought a product from a seller on Blujay and made the mistake of not checking out the reliability of this site first. My money was taken with no problems but after a few days I heard nothing about shipping. I tried to contact the seller but no contact info was provided. The link given to my purchase in the email didn't work. My account on the site seems to have disappeared and the seller is no longer active on the site.  Don't buy from them ever. There's no customer service, no way to contact or review seller. Luckily I used Paypal so I can hopefully get my money back.

Too Good To Be True

One star is definitely too much for this site. I was looking for a way to get away from the ever escalating fees of Ebay.. "completely free" blujay says .. "less greedy" blujay says … so i scour over their TOS and start setting up my store. i list many of the items that i have on ebay, that are accepted by ebay per their TOS. I put in 5 products, total of almost 30 items total in quantity and i discover the shopping cart doesn't work. So i post in their help forum where i was informed that i had to have 20 items in my new store before an admin would approve it to go live. Wait, there's no mention of a waiting period in the TOS or an admin approval for that matter. I was then instructed to look in the Announcements post in their forums that i would find my answers there. Nope, nothing there and the mod's weren't giving me a direct link.. so i'm just ok, fine .. i'll post more stuff later, i had already spent over an hour just navigating around, getting a store banner set up, pictures for my products, descriptions, shipping info.. etc. obviously they just make stuff up as they go along or as they see fit or allow their mods to give people the run around and giggle as they sip tea and read the frustrated posts of a new user.

I come back later and all my items have been removed. Apparently my items didn't jive with someone's moral values or they don't know how to interpret their own TOS. There were two other stores on the blujay site that had similar products as mine with working shopping carts (activated stores) that had been in business from 5 months to 18 months… their items didn't disappear. I bring this to the mod's attention. I point out in the TOS that my products are indeed compliant and the length of time the other stores has been operating, to no avail. It's not worth the fight, so i tell them to delete my store, because … there's no place to delete your store in their preferences.. and when you try to change details in your account their botched up coding tells you some stupid blather about your email password being too short.. whether you are trying to change your password, nor not.

In conclusion They DO NOT disclose all the terms on their TOS, leave things out so that an excited new seller can sadly discover later that indeed, you really do get what you pay for. For now, i'll just stay with the Dark Side and i wish them all the best, but i wouldn't recommend using their site.. FREE means struggling with unclear Terms of Service, clueless moderators and some control freak admin that picks and chooses who can compete with other sellers of the same product genre. That's the taste it's left in my mouth. AND btw .. when Ebluejay.com gets released, remember .. they are the same site with the same people running it.. don't be fooled by something shiny and new.. it's going to be the same old BS when it's released. Just a heads up.

Blujay Is Better Than Ebay

I have been selling on blujay since jan. 2007. I did keep paypal for a while but have even gotten rid of that. I have to admit the sales are much slower but now I accept credit cards so now it is better. For anyone wanting to buy on blujay, just contact the seller first before sending money. I have mine set up so you can't send money until you have communicated with me, either by e-mail or phone.

No Customer Service

Set up account, ordered, paid via paypal. Never received communication nor the item. No ability to do ANYTHING about it on blujay site. Only thing to do is dispute via paypal. Absolutely horrible experience. Glad this was not a "gift" or time sensitive purchase. Waste of time. Despite cost structure, I'll stick with ebay.

I Will Not Ever Buy From Them Again!

I ordered a shirt for my daughter, a child's large, and I paid for it, but by the 2nd week the shirt wasn't in yet, so I got a hold of the seller, and ask where it was, they finally sent it out,but when I got it, it was a toddler size small. My child is 10 years old, she wears a size 12. I got in touch with the seller again, and she told me it cost more for a child large. The only thing they told me was and adult size cost more when I was ordering. They called me a bad mother for not asking more questions, and it's my fault that I got the size that I got. They are very rude and hateful, and will not work with me to get a shirt that will fit my daughter. This shirt has her name on it, so I can't give it to anyone else to wear, we are stuck with a shirt that cannot be worn, we got ripped off, and they stole from us. They knew from the get go I needed a large size, and sent me a toddler small on purpose. And there is absolutely nobody to work with to get it straightened out, or my money back. I hope somebody is able to get these people back for all the stealing they are doing. I think it is absolutely ridiculous there isn't anyone on this website who can help get things right, they are just getting away with it, and it needs to stop! So do not buy from this site if you don't want to get ripped off. And p.s. I will find a way to bring you down! The shirt I got is a Luke Bryan shirt with my daughters name. Just in case anyone is looking to buy one, I wouldn't do it. There is no place on the website that says larger sizes cost more, it gives one price and no sizes, be careful!!!

Blujay Has Gone South For The Winter And Never Returned

BluJay was good for a while and now its just dying. Plegged with problems between Google Shopping and the site, the place was never the same. Seller complain about steep drop in sales and nothing gets done about it. Been reading the BluJay forum regarding sellers having to use the site with outdated technology tools and promises of an upgrade span some 5 years with no proof of anything in the works from the owner of the site.

Have found many sellers stearing away from BluJay when it appears that the sellers who have left BluJay are using their competition to make a steady supply of sales. In the forum, there have been complaints from sellers who want to keep the site free, but what does free get you, nothing in todays world.

To whomever is running this site, you have to get off your fanny and really implement some serious changes, even if it means following everyone else and start to charge a fee to get some useful tools to help sellers and increase your foot hold in the marketplace of selling goods.

Steve Nebeker Is A Crook (unclestore)

I made a purchase on 12/28 for a bottle of cologne that I found for my partner. I sent payment through paypal and have never heard back from the seller. I have sent a few emails through the bluejay website and also directly to the seller. However now the invoice has been deleted from the system and still no response. Have had to open a dispute with paypal to get my money back. STAY AWAY FROM THIS SITE. No customer service, fake sellers just a plain old RIP OFF!

A Place Called Insync Electronics On Blujay

I have used blujay.com twice and even though my first experience was a drag my most recent one landed me on a site where i struck gold so you never know what you may find on blujay. As i said, its hitvor miss but as i experienced the hit part was worth it. I found insync electronics and just ordered from their site, nsyncelectronics.com where i filled my daughters and husbands birthday list just recently. Their prices are fantastic and customer service is incredible. They are on twitter and facebook too, i checked before i orderedand they have tons of friends and followers. Best online shopping experience so far
