I Purchased My Sedu Ionic Ceramic Tourmaline Strai
I purchased my Sedu Ionic Ceramic Tourmaline Straightener about 2 months ago and at the time it was a God send. After said 2 months my hair started getting that burnt smell, even though I hadn't changed a thing, not shampoo, not way I'm using it, not the heat, NADA. I had to set it at very low heat and with my african american roots that does zilch for straightening my hair. I've read a lot of reviews and though a lot of people say it stops working after x times / days, no one has had my same experience. Additionally, it seems to have a less quick straightening response time now. Sad but true. I'm torn between trying a new one (it just could be a defective product I got) or going a whole new route.
where did u buy it from

I've Had My Sedu For A Year Now And Was Totally In
I've had my sedu for a year now and was totally in love with it because it really straightened my hair without damaging it so much, i do it everyday, in very little time. The bad thing is that i was using it when the light came off and it never worked again. I live outside the US so it's very complicated to send it back.
Wouldn't buy it again since it's supposed to be professional and me being the only user I feel it shouldn't have broken down so fast.

I've Had My Sedu For 2 Years Now And It Works Grea
I've had my Sedu for 2 years now and it works great! It's the best one I've bought yet. It has fallen to the ground a few times and there's still nothing wrong with it so I don't know why there's so many reviews of defective straighteners. I'm just glad that mine is still working well and hopefully I won't have to buy another one for a long time.

I Purchased A Sedu Ionic Ceramic Tourmaline Straig
I purchased a Sedu Ionic Ceramic Tourmaline Straightener from Folica.com. When it arrived it promptly stopped working on the second day. I called the manufactuerer to complain but got no response when I called. I then emailed and still no response into my inbox. I called Folica and their customer service said to send it back. I did.... didn't hear anything ... so I called Sedu and Folica again. Both have the worst customer service I have ever encountered. I bought the Sedu iron based on the raving product reviews on Folica.com. I WILL NEVER BUY A SEDU PRODUCT AGAIN!!! I have not received a return fax, call, email as of yet.

I At First Really Liked My Sedu. I Had Read Great
I at first really liked my Sedu. I had read great reviews, but my flat iron stopped working after only after 2 months. I contacted American Beauty Supply company and they didn't answer the phone, or emails or even faxes. In my experience they have the worst customer service ever. I will NEVER buy a SEDU again.

My Sedu Ionic Ceramic Tourmaline Straightener Stop
My Sedu Ionic Ceramic Tourmaline Straightener stopped working after 5 times of use. I returned it to Folica and two months later they still haven't sent me a new one. The last time I called they said I needed to pay them a $9.95 processing fee before they send me a new one.

I Loved The Sedu Ionic Ceramic Tourmaline Straight
I loved the Sedu Ionic Ceramic Tourmaline Straightener, and I truly thought it was a dream. However, when I lost the feeling in my thumb because the nerves had been killed due to the heat, I thought better of it. Heat is an analgesic, so I thought that I would just get used to the heat on my finger, yet it burned the area of my thumb where you press the plates together so badly, I felt it wasn't worth it. Great hair or no feeling in my thumb? I'll pick my thumb. I called the company and they said they have heard that so much, that they are in the process of re-designing them and the new model, and it will be more ergonomically satisfying for that need. It should be out in the next few months. I will re-buy it then.
