Once Again The Chemical Brothers Have Served Up An
Once again the Chemical Brothers have served up another Brilliant album. How do they do it?
The first song on the Push the Button album is "Galvanize", which is brilliant. Great beats mixed with a beautiful violin bit (for want of a better word), and rapper Q Tip providing vocals. When I first heard this it blew me away.
Then we have "Believe". Yet another cracking tune. It has a thumping beat, loads of interesting industrial samples dropped in and out with precision. It is a piece of art crafted to perfection (in my opinion). Great to dance to too, which is nice.
"Come Inside" (track 5) reminds me of the "Dig Your Own Hole" album, similar to "Block Rocking Beats" in sound. Whilst it is not one of the first songs On the album I would think of listening to, I still love it.
The next track is "The Big Jump", which would be another one of their lesser spotted tunes, but it's well worth having a listen to. It's quite a strange trippy song to listen to through headphones.
"Push the button" has the perfect balance of big beats and mellow sounds. It is another fine blend of rich, creamy, exquisite Chemical Brothers flavour, and it won't disappoint.
