Philips SBC-HP800

for some reason I can`t Play properly with these headphones for their mids seem to - I don`t know - have not enough Dynamics? My Fender sounds allright over the boxes and with Studio Headphones, but with the Philips it sounds like I would overdrive an old Stereo. Sounds like vibrating plastic. Maybe for HiFi listening ist allright, but useless for prcticing guitar.

These are phones I have had for five years. They produce a good sound with useful stereo separation. They are also comfortable to wear for hours at a time. However, they are prone to breakage, especially at the can's swivel point. I have repaired one side several times, eventually super-gluing it in position so that it no longer swivels, but at least it stays on my ears. Now the other side has gone the same way. Pity, but I couldn't recommend them with a basic design flaw. I'm happy to buy Philips again, but not this model.

this is very good circumaural headpones and they are quite cheap. My best choice ever. I have them for about 3 years (maybe more longer). Although i was repair the cable near the Jack and I used a glue to broken knuckle above right earphone, they are still best. Sound quality and comfort is exellent. They are good with my Nokia 5800 XpressMusic too.

Excellent sound quality with the Philips SBC-HP800. I have listened to many other headphone sets (Senheiser, Sony, Behringer etc..) and none of them ever comes close to this fabulous piece of kit. Freq response is stated from 10 Hz to 38,000 Hz. Fantastic bass if you are a Bass head, superb treble good for all types of music. Very comfortable to wear. All the multi-channel madness in the world can't beat this one!!

The Philips SBC-HP800 is a very powerful headphone, excellent bass response,smooth middle, fine treble. Optimal fit and long powercord. Low cost.Very Very advisable

The Philips SBC-HP800 headphones can produce really good quality sound for the price, however the build quality was a let down
