Great First Cruiser Bike.
not really much to say about them other than mine will touch 70mph (with mods) assuming the speedo is accurate. the only thing with these bikes is rust, severe rust. I brought the bike for £140 and rebuilt it myself.
its a great looking bike with all the appeal of a bigger machine, only today I had people in a shop saying it was a 250+ its even been mistaken for a 1100 suzi.
the only problems I have with the bike is it uses some oil and I don't like the foot boards. and the chrome is shocking.

Well Worth A Try
I purchased my bike of ebay 6 months ago to replace my pioneer. Its the best thing l ever did.The bike was 6 years old when l got it but it had been looked after.the twin clyinder engine runs smooth without the vibration that you get with a single cylinder125.The jinlun and the pioneer use the same frame, wheels, electrics etc.The jinlun pulls and handles better.I am a big guy 22stone but l still get to cruise at 60 without any problems.Happy Cruising
How old was it when you bought it

I Have Had The Bike For Just Over Two Years, Its D
I have had the bike for just over two years, Its done 13,000 kilometres from new out of the box. I've had a few problems but nothing I could not fix myself with the correct tools and parts. The only bad side is the damn choke cable keeps snapping and the seat is a poor design, if it rains the water puddles in the "Buttons" and you get a wet backside even with waterproofs on. Use it everyday except for very bad weather (Ice and Snow) Really nice Bike.

I Think For The Price You Pay For This Cruiser It
I think for the price you pay for this cruiser it cannot be matched by any other company, the parts are easily accessed from local dealer and smooth ride is had by all, anyone thinking about purchasing on of the should do so I have had no problems with mine what so ever. OK they are not the fastest bike in the world but mine cruises at 65mph and if needed will easily go to 70mph, many thanks.
Was it new or used looking at them curious

I've had my Jinlun 125 for a year and a half it always starts it still looks good and even though I've now passed my bike test I'd never part with it.
I was dudious about buying such an inexpensive bike at first but when you get it all your worries are forgotten it performs well looks great and does 80-90 mpg.

I Finally Traded Up To A 125 After My Scooter's En
I finally traded up to a 125 after my scooter's engine died on me. I chose this bike based mainly on the price, and that it looks a lot better than many other 125's.
Since getting it I have had a few issues however.
Firstly, getting it insured. Now I have no idea why, but whilst most companies are perfectly happy to insure the JL125-11, a very similar bike that shares the same engine, many refused to cover this model. One company actually mis-sold me a policy for the scooter model JL125T-13, which also was not amusing. However, with some perseverance I eventually got it sorted.
Secondly, dodgy wiring. I found that with my bike the importers, who built the bike up for me, hadn't done a proper job connecting the wires (under the seat) for the optional alarm. Easily rectified with some solder, but you'd expect it to be done properly by a supposedly certified mechanic.
Lastly, as I mentioned before in the bad points section, if you're not careful this thing will rust very quickly. You need to make sure you clean and wax in every nook and cranny.
Problems aside though this is a great bike. I use it mainly to commute to work, which for me is town riding, so my fuel consumption is about 70mpg. Still haven't run the engine in fully yet either, so my current max speed is 60mph, comfortable speed is around the 52-55mph mark. Another great thing is the attention it draws, many times when I've parked up, or come back to the bike after being in town, I've had people come up admiring it and asking questions. A friend of mine who was on the fence about getting one has now pledged to get one as well, having seen it up close.
