I used this product on my thin, fine, curly hair after trying & liking the Easy Straight Flat Iron Finish. It only straightened some of my hair, so after one month I repeated the process. Again, it didn't straighten all of my hair, but the hair that was straight was stick straight. Unfortunately, the product did not wash out after a week or after a month, it was MONTHS before it was completely out of my hair. And until it was completely out, the product left me with EXTREMELY dry hair and massive split ends. I will NEVER use it again! I called the company who told me their product could never do what it did to my hair. But I was living proof. I then used every hair care product for the repair of extremely damaged hair available & spent A LOT of money & eventually my hair returned to normal. Believe it or not, I still like and use the flat iron finish, but it took a long time before I could use it again. I'm just grateful that I didn't try the 3-month straightener!

It didn't do a thing it said it would do. It didn't control the frizz and only straightened some of my hair.

Worthless waste of money.

I have just used the EasyStraight 1 Week Straightening product, and it has worked great! I decided on the 1 week treatment after weeks of researching the 3 month treatment. I was a little afraid of the 3 month because everyone seemed to have a different experience. What I found is that the 1 week is so easy to use, and the results were great. The instructions suggested leaving it on the hair for 15 minutes. However, I rinsed it off after 7 minutes, so it did leave some wave in my hair (my own fault). Also, the 3rd step conditioner is glittery and leaves very noticeable sparkle in your hair, so I probably won't use that again.

Overall I am very happy with the product.

I have used EasyStraight 1 Week Straightener twice already and I am so excited about it! I saw it in Glamour magazine where it got a good review, and figured I should give it a try. But hardly anyone I know has even heard of this yet! With summer quickly approaching, I am already thinking about my hair and frizz in the humidity! Anyway, the EasyStraight 1 Week Straightener is a "temporary" straightener and it's supposed to last 5-7 shampoos. I have never heard of anything else like this before, and I have to admit, I wasn't sure if I was wasting my $15. There are three steps, and you have to start with clean, dry hair (so I would plan to use this on a day you're washing you're hair, and have an hour to spend) You put the first step on, and comb it through - there is a comb in the box by the way. It feels just like a gel. I left that on my hair for 20 minutes, but the there are other times depending on your hair I guess. I combed my hair a lot, whenever I saw curl come back, maybe 6 or 7 times during the 20 minutes. Then, I rinsed that out. Then, I lightly combed my hair because it always gets pretty tangly. But, I have to say it wasn't as tangly as usual. At this point, I was still not sure what the end result would be, because I still saw some wave in my hair. Then, I put the second step in my hair, which was a white cream. The directions say to use the whole bottle. After that's on, you comb it through and leave it in for 7 minutes. I combed my hair 3-4 times before I rinsed that out. After I rinsed out this step, my hair did look straight and the waves were gone. On the box, it says that it washes away curls, and it really does! When my hair is wet, it's normally wavy and then as it dries, it gets all curly and frizzy. But my hair was so straight. I couldn't stop looking at it. I put the last step in my hair, and that was my favorite! It smells so good! The smell reminded me of some salon product that I love, but I can't remember the name. I put it in and combed my hair. Then I blow dried it. This product has some little sparklies in it that made my hair so shiny! (That is a nice touch). First, it took hardly any time to blow it. I didn't have to use a brush - just my fingers! while I was drying it. When I was done, my hair was straight. But, the biggest thing I noticed is that it made my hair so much softer! My hair has never felt soft before in my life! I wash my hair every other day, so after the first wash, I didn't know what to expect. But, I am physched to say that it was still straight and soft. I actually liked my hair better after I washed it. It took me less than ten minutes to blow it out. And my frizz was still g-o-n-e. My hair at this time of year is usually so dry and "blah", but it was smooth and I had no frizz. After the second shampoo (which I did 5 days after the product) my hair was still great. It wasn't until after the fourth shampoo that I started to see my waves coming back, but my hair was still soft, still easy to manage and shiny. I would say it was completely out of my hair by the 6th shampoo or so. But I loved it so much, I went out and bought it again because I am going on vacation soon, and this is going to make a world of difference for me!
