I have had my scooter for just over two years now, which I bought brand new. I havnt had many problems but recently I have noticed some sort of liquid/oil? Coming out near the suspension on the front end and the back end, I have also noticed that my bike is losing a bit of power and is taking longer to speed up. Can anybody tell me what the problem is? I have looked after it pretty well. When I first got it I could only get around 25-30 mph but since I have had it de-restricted at first could get it to go about 55-60mph now it will only go about 45-50.

I have owned my 2005 Aprillia SR 50 R for ages now and i couldnt think of any better first bike, i have rode most 50cc bikes due to my mates all had different ones and i think with 50cc bikes there is no point in manual bikes
good looking.
cheap on fuel.
handles like a dream when your weaving in and out of traffic or when your cornering at higher speeds.
brakes are very good, sharp when you need them to be but not too sharp.
speedo has a cool little party piece when you switch the ignition on (the needle goes round to the end and then back to the start)
it has two trip computers which also tells you your top speed of the trip.
lap timer.
battery volt meter.
it has an immobiliser which is handy if you dont want it nicked :)and finally they seem to be very rare which is always nice.buy from right person you get the handy aprilia tool kit and a aprilia chain lock which connects to a part of the frame.
riding position is great.
lights are incredibly bright and you have a very good view of whats coming up in the dark.my first years insurance fully comp was £176.43 which is cheap no matter what way you look at it.

This is a superve scooter. It is really fats and after de-restriction and an exhaust fitted it will do 60mph on a flat even with all 12 stone of me on it! It handles like a dream can be leaned right over with no fear of slipping and it pulls of fast too. I have heard that these scooters are amazing when 70cc as well. Awesome bike well worth the money and a superve 1st bike.

This moped is based on the 3 time moto GP winner Aprilia RSV 1000R superbike. In all the months I have had this moped, it still starts up just as good as when I first started it with just a little throttle (about 10% throttle) and just a quick blip on the starter and its away and also it is very good on the kick start with the same amount of throttle and just a light gentle kick. Secondly she is fantastic on the corners with brilliant control and pretty good acceleration. It is also very reliable and you get a 2 year warranty with it. Also I recommend running the bike on Silkolene Scoot 2 MC-Sync Technology 2T oil and BP Ultimate Unleaded for great fuel economy and fantastic power performance throughout the rev range. This is not a con - try it and see and feel for yourself. It has fantastic styling and always turns heads wherever you go without fail.

I have owned the Aprilia SR 50 R Factory for a week now. It is the best scooter I owned or tried. (I own: Two Benellis and one foldable DiBlasi moped) (I have tried: Yamaha, Honda, Piaggio, Derbi)
SUSPENSION: The suspension of this scooter is hard. You can feel most bumps on the road, but the 13 inch weels easily take them (This scooter is really sturdy). (Note: the suspension is not as hard as the Piaggio NRG, but not as soft as the Derbi GP 1)
HANDLING: It is very good, even in wet and off-road conditions.
BRAKES: The breaks are the best I have seen. They are very strong.
ACCELERATION: This scooter beats all scooters in acceleration.
TOP SPEED: 50km/h RESTRICTED, 90km/h DERESTRICTED (without tuning)
ON-BOARD COMPUTER: This is an awesome thing on the FACTORY edition.
I recommend this scooter for everyone, I think that this scooter is good for beginners as well. It also runs very quiet, and can achieve full performance at any time.
