The Link Bought My Old Contract And Had A New Lg C

the link bought my old contract and had a new lg cookie ,done everything they asked they was sposed to send me a check to pay the old contract they write me a letter saying they wouldnt pay as i never sent the documents in the time span . every time i rang up i was resured that the check was in the post. The chap who delt with me that i only had to send one statement and nearly every week 2 or 3 times i rang up i still woulnt told about sending another two statements . i wrote a complate letter and the offered me half the bill towards the othe contract . i was sick to death of this company, and im not surprised that they have gone out of business.

Waiting A Whole Day (9-5.30) For A Replacement Lap

Waiting a whole day (9-5.30) for a replacement laptop to be delivered due to original one faulty. No-one turned up.

No-one answers the phone between 5.20 - 6pm so cannot contact them to complain.

Now need to take another day off.

Supposedly 21st century co. but cannot offer delivery windows 8-10, 10-12 etc..

Tried To Purchase An Lg Viewty. Free Next Day Deli

Tried to purchase an LG viewty. Free next day delivery was the reason for choosing The Link (online). When the product didn't arrive they could not explain it, but promised it on the next working day (3 days later).When it didn't arrive then, they told me some story about my credit card not releasing the funds, but they have been release now, so expect it tomorrow. I can tolerate mistakes that are corrected, but not laziness and lies. Cancelled my order and purchased it elsewhere for £10 less

Their web site clearly states next day delivery. It even give a nice helpful table with the days of the week on just in case you didn't know. When you call them, they deny that it says this. The staff I have spoken to have been far from helpful and bordering on rude.

Cancelling orders from this company are not as easy as you would think! They will not refund until the Royal Mail return the goods to them - up to 21 working days, then refunds will happen up to 10 working days. That's 43 of our days!!! They also will not recall the goods from the Royal Mail, and will wait haplessly until they are returned. In fact, everything I suggested was met with a "we can't" or "we won't".

I Ordered A Laptop With Mobile Broadband From The

I ordered a laptop with mobile broadband from The Link, assuming it would be sent out straight away. When I called 2 days later it was only being sent out on that day, so I cancelled the order and requested a refund. I was told the refund would take up to 10 days. 11 days later I called again, querying why the money had not been refunded. I was told they would process it there and then for me, and it would be in my account with 7-10 working days. The person I spoke to gave me no apology, and could offer no explanation as to why they had not processed it the same day I cancelled my order. When I complained, she said he couldn't get through to the department.

My query would be, if i had not rung to query it, would they ever have refunded it.

I Ordered (with Some Trepidation After Reading Som

I ordered (with some trepidation after reading some bad reviews) my new Orange mobile phone contract with The Link and with my phone was a free gift (32" Samsung LCD TV). I received my order after a couple of days (credit checks required first) and went away on holiday. When I returned I set up the new TV and was chuffed. Then it stopped working 3 days later. So I called The Link (no problems getting through, took only a minute!) and told them and the operator said that as it's within 14 days they won't bother to arrange a repair, they'll just send me a new one! Next morning, along comes my replacement new TV and they took away the broken one. No questions, no hassle and the TV is working perfectly. So far anyway! My mobile phone is lovely too. I haven't had any problems really, I think The Link performed well for me. Perhaps I was lucky?! Maybe, but I'm a happy camper anyway!

Bought From The Link In West Lothian Never Mention

Bought from the link in west lothian never mentioned they

were closing down, since then the mobile has broken twice away for 40days on the first repair to master care,2nd

Time it has been away for 60days and still not sure when it will come back but still paying orange,master care,link,orange never again total nightmare.

Phone Repairs Involve Phoning An 0870 Number And B

Phone repairs involve phoning an 0870 number and being on hold for ages. Sometimes it is never answered, and I end up listening to a voice telling me my phone call is important to The Link, while I am paying 0870 number rates. It must be better to buy a phone from a shop that does not hide behind an 0870 number.

I Recently Bought My Samsung D600 On A T-mobile Co

I recently bought my Samsung D600 on a T-Mobile contract from The Link. It was excellent value for money, as they even threw in a free 2Gb iPod Nano MP3 player. The person who served me was very informative, and gave me 100% attention and helped me get the right deal for me.

The customer service was so good that a week later when my phone broke (manufacturer fault, not theirs), and without a receipt or packaging, they exchanged the handset and transferred all my contacts and pics on to the new phone handset for me.

Also, being a bit ditsy I have called in a few times since to ask how to do different thing with my phone, and instead of telling me to go home and read the manual, each and every staff member I have encountered has helped with my question in a professional and helpful manner.

If you value service and expertise then I recommend The Link.

The Link - Whiterose Leeds. I Was Promised An

The Link - WhiteRose Leeds.

I was promised an MP3 player for £80.00, but told that there were none in stock, come back tomorrow when we get a delivery.

Went back, and the price was £100.00. Still no stock. I asked the manager if he would honour the £80.00 promise- he said no. I asked why I was promised there would be one, he said I should have ignored the salesman and rung to check! (is he calling his own saleman a liar?) He then told me he would not argue, and I must leave the shop. I rang head office, who spoke to him and told me that he must honour the £80.00 when they get more stock in. I have rung everyday for 3 weeks, and everyday they say (it could be tomorrow). I rang head office again, and they said that they don't know what stock will arrive, nor when, nor if any other stores have any in stock. I asked to speak to a service manager and was refused. I was then told that the fire in Hemel Hempstead has caused more problems, and I would be best shopping elsewhere. This was supposed to be my Christmas present from my wife, so now I am getting nothing - it is too late to order one elsewhere.

Why, oh why do they make false promises. I only stuck with trying them so long because they were £20.00 cheaper than anywhere else.
